There probably isn't enough justification for it to go changing the interface for it, but I know I would love it if it were possible to intentionally perform at a worse skill level than one actually possesses. This would typically be done by slaves and prisoners that don't want to benefit their captors any more than they have to, and would pretend to be worse at something than they really are.
I guess this may cause captors to kill off people with weak skill levels? Of course, some have done this already.
I'm sure there may also be some uses where people might feign being worse fighters than they actually are as well?

I agree, this is a good idea. Can we have "Perform better than skill too? I have a few chars that really needs this.

This would be cool, if it caused fatigue as a by-product. Someone that isn't skilled should be able to put in extra effort to bump up a skill temporarily, almost like a rush job.
The hardest part (other than coding) would be coming up with a balanced ratio that would make it usable for short bursts, but hit the fatigue hard enough to compensate for the boosted production.

Maybe we could give tea and coffee a new use this way, but that's of course strictly speaking off topic.
Pretty in pink.
