Thought or Rant of the day!!!

All the god forsaken mother loving posters who carried on about "you cant put that in a character description" or "an emote like that makes my skin crawl".

I would like to think they were not all aimed at my characters, but I took them like they were, and it's improved my characters a lot.

I saw the not-so-little thug about an hour ago. Luckily, my laughter was masked by the fact that I was already laughing when the door opened because former roomie is a huge, creepy dork. He looked just as feminine as he did nine years ago when he was 11. I threw money at my debt-collector and fled, but only because she has this terrible power to trap people into two-hour conversations.

Did a little trip planning this morning/just right now.

Trip to CA is going to cost $194 with advance booking. Re-he-heaaally glad I'm not paying for this venture.
Unfortunately, the blasted trip takes far too long: one day, nine hours, some odd minutes. =\ I'm going to die.... My phone will be dead long before I even get out of the state because I have a wee bit of an addiction problem. Would it be too weird for me to take two phone and just switch my SIM card out so I can keep using the internet?


Secondly, trip to Dallas, which I have not decided on my method of transportation, as of yet. The most tempting choice is the $58 roundtrip bus ride. Flying is $199.40....screw that. The other option was just taking a road trip and driving over there. As appealing and tempting as that is, it would be expensive as hell and not sure if I'm down for road trips. I like them, in theory, but not really long distances. Especially since I have this paranoia that my car is just going to spontaneously die on me one day.

Blargh. I don't travel well. u.u

One more week left of classes, then finals. I'm a sinking ship.
Also, I'm going to go pretend to be productive now seeing as Cantr has been a jerky jerk all day and been totally dead for me ='(

During Passover Seder, dinner portion, Monday night, we're having a free-wheeling conversation about all sorts of things. My 16yo says (perfectly in context, I might add), "I like frozen yogurt better than ice cream". All conversation comes to a screeching halt. No one was surprised, outraged, etc. at the comment. It just for some reason stopped the conversation. The incongruity of this being a conversation stopper just made me larf.

I'm somewhat alive again. I have no classes until next Wednesday, when I'll have two tests.
Then my semester will be over!

And I um..I've only gone on Cantr like 3 times in the last couple weeks, or few weeks..and it wasn't for very long..

Three days of migraine. Joy.

So when you have a headache, what not to do? Go to a concert!
Bad idea.

It starts at 6:30 next to town hall where we will have a spaghetti dinner and Jazz band from local high school.
But snickie will hopefully be playing a few solo's. Just smile and pretend that your head isn't about to explode.

And a belated and yet current thank you to everyone who has patience with the fact that sometimes my work makes it so that I can post once, then leave for an hour, then once, then leave, et cetera.

R/Totd: I kinda hate that I don't have huge chunks of time to play cantr all at once but then again Id rather this than working 8 hours that I can't be on cantr at all.

I do like storms (with the exception of ones that spawn tornadoes or have super high winds like we've been getting) but I've got stuff I need to do outside and the rain is going to prevent all that. Not to mention my yard will be impossible to mow.

The exact same thing happened to me yesterday! So disappointing! Having a go at another batch this evening, fingers crossed!

We desperately need rain here... But I'm a little selfish in not wanting it to come for another week or so because my street is torn up at the moment, and I really want it finished before I have to deal with slogging through muck to get to my house.

But yes, crazy. We have fires everywhere and a burn ban. The other night was really weird because east of me, we had tornadoes and storms and west of me there were fires dotted all over the map.
