Small issues

Postby Tiamo » Fri Mar 11, 2011 7:24 pm

My character has been hunting an owl for way over 200 damage (a bear got killed in less time, with less damage per hit), but the owl never seems to die. Is the strength for owls correct?

When i look at the description of another character, the age description ("a man in his twenties") is (was?) shown in the language of the other character, not of my character.
I also remember seeing a general message in polish (the one about the combat mechanism i think), but it shows in english again now.
I think ...

I couldn`t find a good place to ask this question, so I chose here....

Is it still a big problem to have two characters in the same area?
I have a character that is on a recreational and trading trip. This character I was just informed may be heading to an area where I have another character.
If this happens, will I be contacted by the PD like back in the old days? Can I get away with this, if they have minimal or no interaction? If not, how do I tactfully manuever out of this dilemma? It`d be rather embarrassing to admit OOCly my character can`t go because I have another character there. Plus, it`d be a major inconvenience to not continue on with them, for the character traveling.
I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

I am so clever that sometimes I don't understand a single word of what I am saying.

They are allowed to spend time in the same town, as long as they don't work towards the same goal, trade items etc. The possibility of screwing up, and speak with the wrong char etc are greatly increased though. So personally I always try to split them asap when it happens, or simply letting one of them sleep for the duration.

Thanks Echoman. Just to clarify... as long as they don`t engage in trading or work on the same project, then I`m okay? I`m not to worried about speaking on the wrong character I try to be very careful about that. Will RPing introductions between them be okay? They are both nice people and would greet each other I`d think.

As for having one remain asleep the whole time. I really don`t like the idea of that. It seems like breaking the CR to preserve it, which would be very frustrating to me.

They can't work towards the same goals. Not with projects and also not in political-, organisatorial-, war-, fighting-, dragging-matters etc. Greeting eachother is ofcourse ok.

I have two characters that will likely meet and hate each other and fight for IG reasons I can't explain here. Would it be CRB for each to attack the other, regardless of whether or not an order was given IG?

If that's what they would normally do, then no, it's not.
