Thought or Rant of the day!!!

This happens to me often. If you have your arm up above your head while you sleep, or in other weird positions, it cuts off the circulation as well. There have been times when I woke up in shock, getting slapped on the face by my own numb arm, after rolling over too quickly. I'm not joking, this has happened to me at least twice. Scary as hell.

Lol. While I understand how scary this must be for you when it happens, the imagery my mind conjured up from your words had me choking on my water-I was laughing so hard.

I haven't slapped myself in the face while sleeping. There was one time I fell asleep with both arms raised above, and my legs hanging over the end of the bed. When I woke, I couldn't move my arms and had great difficulty sitting up for some reason. I think I finally managed to roll to the side and get my arms into a position that was more conducive to circulation. I just remember it sucked. Tremendously.

Over the last week or two I've been considering some things. I've spawned newspawns everywhere and have barely been playing them...then I start to feel guilty when I don't have enough time to split out to spend the same amount of effort on each one (mostly due to the amazing characters around mine). I then start feeling overwhelmed and get into the habit of choosing to cut back my characters only to want to spawn more later and start the cycle all over again. But I did notice that when I start feeling that way, I start not playing ANY of my characters, including my older ones that I put so much time and effort into before and that people count on. Tonight, one of my new ones close to dying was really enjoyable to play. It was just fun, no one depending on me for anything, Just to rp for the sake of rp'ing. So...I've decided now, that I am going to stop worrying over spending an equal amount of time on each character. It's impossible. Some take more time and effort than the others. Some I play for the sake of others and some I play just for me. So from now on, those of you around mine, Forgive me if one of them is not as active as another may be. I will be putting more time and effort into the ones that require more of it, and less time on those that dont' have as many responsibilites. And I will not let myself feel guilty of it anymore or make myself overwhelmed trying to keep up. If they sleep a little longer than others, then they do and you all will just have to deal with it

I have lost circulation in arms (and once or twice in a leg). It's frightening because I guess that if enough time passes like that, there is a point of no return for that limb. I get circulation going by shaking my upper body so that my arms are moving.

I had that in November 2009. It stunk, but I got over it. Do everything you can to make yourself get better.

Okay, I know it's not as bad as H1N1, but my nose is running and I'm sneezing and my throat is sore, and I can't go ten minutes without needing to blow my nose vainly for five. This is a very bad week for me to get sick. I have Solo & Ensemble this week! Has anybody ever tried to play a wind instrument while congested? It. Doesn't. Work. As I said. This is NOT the week for it to not work!

Thought: the boyfriend is a huge dork. He ignored the anniversary and then went all out for Valentine's Day. For the record, I don't care about the anniversary beyond the "Seriously, six years!?" factor, but I think Valentine's Day is a ridiculous holiday, which I have been trying to pound into his head for, well, six years! It's kinda cute (in a hugely dorky way), though, how excited he gets about it. I think he usually ends up giving me things early. I think he may be gunning for the marriage thing again, 'cause he got me a wife card xD

Thought the second: I have a test on Tuesday and I have done all the reading for it! This has never happened before. I found the perfect way to combat my ADD tendencies and even managed to read three chapters in one day, which has also never happened (and is sad, since I can read multiple novels in a single day). Maybe now I can actually read my textbooks as we go along instead of frantically skimming in the day and a half before the test like I've been doing so far.

Rant: self-righteous people. They awaken violent urges in me. Also, the nice weather is gone.

I went to bed two-and-a-half hours ago. I fell asleep two-and-a-quarter hours ago. So why am I awake now? Because my sinuses aren't allowing me otherwise. Earlier I couldn't stay awake because of them.

I doubt I'll be getting much sleep tonight. -____-
