i agree fully but it's basically been said that it won't happen till the next generation of cantr

no one ever said that to my knowlege. item deterioration isn't just a nice idea, cantr isn't complete without it. the economy doesn't quite work. that's why i can't stress it enough. i realize it'll probably take quite a bit of programming, but it will be well worth it.

I agree with 'em. I want the cantr world to restart in its glory!

I however believe that you should be able to transfer one or two characters to the game, to have a head start (So that you don't end up losing EVERYTHING) - they of course would be abducted by aliens and mind wiped. So those notes that they have will either be burned or will look funny...

i think it was when jos was filling everyone in on where things where going for version 2 and someone(dunno who) asked him about it in there and he basically said that at present most programming is going towards ver 2 and it may be included in that or something like that. something about it's easier to add it into brand new script then try and showhorn it into here
