Minutes on new account
A friend just started playing and says her account time limit was at 200 minutes. Is that a bug or part of new accounts? It's been too long since I started a new account for me to remember.

Re: Minutes on new account
When I started, my account the first day only had 155 minutes.
The next day they were 2000.
I wouldn't worry.

OK, must just be a new account thing then. Thanks.
She's panicking because she's already down to 60 minutes, though.

Re: Minutes on new account
I remember I panicked when I ran all out of minutes. I hardly dared to touch the game the next day.

New players get only 200 minutes their first day. This is a bug and should be fixed.

Since we're not going back to the 200 minute system anyway, we should probably disable the countdown or turn it into a "you played xy minutes today" counter. (Reminding you to eat and drink when you reach the 500 ^^.)
Pretty in pink.

Re: Minutes on new account
I was going to comment that a player's first day is probably the worst day to have a limit. For us old-timers, making 10 game minutes last 5 hours is no big deal. My friend spawned only one char and burned half her minutes just poking around the interface, reading notes, and constantly refreshing the events. She was so thrilled with her first moments in Cantr that she wanted to keep playing but ran out of time. Some new players could get very frustrated over that and have a bad first impression.
I know it's only one day, but that's also when someone is likely to be the most excited and interested in learning everything and being click-happy.
