Just like any "abnormality" if it's done well then it will likely go over and get others involved. If you're doing it over-the-top and it's obvious you're hoping to cause drama and/or get attention then it will put people off.

I love mental illness by those that play it well. Most cant though, does that make us sane or cant see our own *coughs* illnesses.

And my evil characters...well, they're evil from birth, generally. I think I had one that was alone so long she went crazy, but generally I come up with far-too-complicated mental disorders/magic as to why my char is going to kill (and occasionally eat) everyone ever.

I don't play evil chars at all. Mine kill evil chars. On that subject there are far too many rapists in game lately. one of my chars has heard of 5 in the last few years. He has killed one and a second soon. Also other chars of mine have heard of rapists. It's making me very annoyed, it seems a few players only mostly play rapists. Well GO To some adult thing to do that. Not ruin cantr with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Especially if those chars are all nice and have no reason to rape by because of their life, it's just out of nowhere.
