"Heavy with"? You could just declare that cantr seas are mercury, not water. Perfectly fair. Nothing yet ingame says otherwise.
Still, it isn't fair to keep coming down on suggestions that derive from reality. Untill the official physical reality of cantr is published, that's all suggesters can go on.
If I suggested a boat made from stone, it would be countered with "stone doesn't float".
But that is a purely real-world based statement...If the sea was mercury, or all stone was pummice, it would...

if people tried hard enough (i.e work together, hundreds) They could get lots of salt... so it wouldn't be rare anymore....
I was thinking about how resources in cantr can only go up because theres no decomposing.... Like there would be a continuous rise of hunting bows because they can't be destroyed...

Fact is: Salt was meant to be rare. Period.
By the way. Stone boats float. As long at the deplacement of the boat is greater than the weight. (500 kilo's of stone float if the deplacement is 1 m2 (edit: m3))
(We even had concrete ships here in holland. Impractible, but possible).

I've got chars with more salt than they know what to do with...
Also a char with a few dozen hunting bows. He gives them away now.

I will probably receive hate mail for this, but I think the "world" should be completly restarted in Cantr 2.0.
It feels like some very good ideas will be postponed or declined just because it doesn't fit in with the current history and/or will make it unfair for certain characters in the game.
