Watch out for brown recluse spiders. They are very fast, can grow large, and their bite can be nasty.
Most "bugs" don't bother me except that I don't want them in my house.
That's exactly how I feel. Everything has its place, but usually not with me in my space.

I have a knack for finding brown recluse. lol I'll go to my brother's house and find one at least every other visit and they swear they never see any. Yes, I do always check.... Growing up in the Midwest, it's a must.

Ah, mosquitoes are a different case. From being a dedicated Boy Scout I gained a good amount of experience with those. I kill those with the deathly hand clap. I think I killed over 50 one day or something like that.

I don't care about most bugs, except that I don't want them in my house, and mosquitoes don't really bother me at all (I grew up in South Carolina, and I was born in Louisiana. They're so much white noise to me), but I don't care where I see spiders, I lose my mind. I have this thing about them, and I am ALWAYS walking into their webs, then having to fight the urge to strip until I get home.
It's a thing.

Re: Thought or Rant of the day!!!
So, I go out to run errands. On my list was the evil Wal-Mart to pick up ammo for my shotgun now that I bribed this cursed state to be "legal". I decided I didn't feel like it, did my grocery shopping and came home. 3 cop cars were blocking my driveway and a few others so I parked next door. This is a very quiet street (except for the people who recently moved in where the cops were) in a semi-rural area. I pull into my neighbor's drive, go up to the door to double-check it's ok for me to park there (of course it is, but I was being polite). She tells me the guy living on the other side of me has a warrant for his arrest. Lovely. No idea if it's related to tonight's ordeal but I'm pretty sure I saw him sitting in the back of one of the squads. Now I'm kicking myself for not buying ammo.

Re: Thought or Rant of the day!!!
I don't read as much as I used to and I plan to remedy that. I made a list of the books I could remember reading from May to December of last year (can't remember many from the first four months) and that came out to 67, or 68 since I read one twice. So far, I've read 5 this year, so I guess it's a good start.

I'm allergic to mosquito bites
and not normal allergic where you get a tiny itchy bump. I get pink blotchy bumps where the bite occurred sometimes like half an inch in diameter.

Re: Thought or Rant of the day!!!
I'm tired of this.... (example)
1 says. I want to dig a hole here.
2 says. 3 might be upset we should wait and ask 3 what he thinks.
1 says. 3 doesn't bother with much anymore, the hole will do good things for our people.
2 says. I spoke to 4 about this hole before he thinks its a good idea too.
1 says. Great! That's three of us that agree. Let dig the hole.
2 says. I don't want to 3 might not like it.
1 says. But its clear the hole is the best plan.
2 says. Sorry but its too much to think about without 3 lets wait.
1 says. But 3 doesn't even bother why are we waiting!?
2 says. Its the way its always been.
1 says. Not much 3 can do if we just dig the hole and things move on.
2 says. Sorry you don't like it that we have to wait on 3.
1 says. We don't have to wait on 3 he doesn't tell us what to do.
2 says. 3 might be upset we should wait and ask 3 what he thinks. (notice we have played Pete and Repeat sitting on a fence)
At this point I would have personally ripped 2 (and there are a lot of 2's out there) out of cantr and beat the living sh*t out of him if it was possible. Thanks for wasting my time (and not 3's because this type of char no longer cares about holes) and if I could I would dig the hole and plant you in it and use your head as a golf ball.
And while Im on a role....*frowns quietly* Gets on my nerves.
Oh and one more thing. Re: Thought or Rant of the day!!!
I'm BACK!
Vacation was spectacular.
We went to Curaçao and Aruba and Dominica (different from the Dominican Republic!) and St. Thomas (U.S. Virgin Islands) and then back to San Juan, Puerto Rico where we caught a flight back to the States.
Airport in San Juan = nightmare. =_=
We had our baggage checked at the USDA thing (mandatory if heading into continental U.S. to make sure you're not bringing foreign whatever (usually food- or plant-products) into the State (mostly they check for drugs)) and the line was short and everything was fine. At the end of the checking, we got a little sticker to put on our suitcases to show it'd been checked.
So we get to the line. It's ridiculously long, and what's worse is that people were taking, like, twenty minutes (slight exaggeration) per party. My dad goes to sit down because he was getting overheated and didn't feel well, and the line was moving that slow. We get to the front, the guy weighs our baggage, and then rejects our heaviest one, no, not because it weighed too much (it didn't), but because it didn't have that stupid little sticker on it. Somewhere it'd fallen off or something. So my mom had to drag that thing back to the USDA baggage check line (which was a mile long by that point) and we waited another half-hour (NOT an exaggeration) just to get that little green sticker again so that they could accept our luggage.
MCO = -the golden lights of heaven shine down on this airport as the angels sing a harmonious carol-
Basically it was: get out of the car, hand off luggage to curbside check-in, go inside, go through security, take tram to gate, sit for an hour-and-a-half waiting for plane.
And to top off my rant… I have a cold. Sore throat and everything.
But enough about that. I had a lot of fun (yes, folks, even without Cantr :p ), so did the family, and so did the extended family (despite tensions between my grandmother and my aunt and their comparing this cruise to previous ones they've had).
Snick was very happy to see me. She says purrrrrrrrrr.
(That means "hi". :p )

Re: Thought or Rant of the day!!!
I finally got off my lazy ass this weekend and purchased new servers, while getting rid of the old. So now instead of loosing $30 a month i now make $6 a month.
Edit: Now that i read this. I had to sit on my ass while i bought and set up the servers, but that is besides the point.
