Thankfully, the boyfriend took off for a few days, so I can settle in with Anna Karenina and some cider and watch the ball drop in peace.

2010 has been a damn good year.

Ex-boyfriend wanted to spend new years together...I biked all the way to where he works, it was closed, nobody was answering at the door, and I didn't have any minutes on my cell. I borrowed someone else's phone, and called him six times. He still wouldn't answer. Had to call my mom to pick me up. Looks like I'll be spending midnight reading James Patterson while sober.
Least I'm not cold anymore. And I got some exercise. And I met two cute guys when I had to borrow their phone. Even though they turned out to know my ex. Still...

I really liked this series! Though I still have to read the last book.
I was very disappointed by it though, because all of a sudden their main "mission" was to fight global warming. I understand and respect that many people care a lot about it, but being someone who doesn't, it was disappointing. =/

Ex-boyfriend made it over brought booze. Now drunk. SO HAPPY. I honestly cannot remember the last time I got drunk. It's so fun. All I want to do is PLAY. And watch Phineas and Ferb. But I can't Cantr till I sober up so but songs are singing in my head which makes me happy. I forgot how it felt to be young and inhibitionless and drunk. Stupid responsibleness. I sound so stupid.

Woot, I fell asleep at 8pm (after waking up just after 7.45 - just past project tick - lol), woke up at 12.10am to the sound of the fireworks, watched them for a bit, found lots of missed calls from my family on my mobile, couldn't return the calls as no voice to speak with, gave a "Happy New Year" glance to the sleeping household, returned to bed, managed a text to my dad and passed out again. Good way to finish the worst year of my life.
Now contemplating driving myself to A & E. Good times.

My night went well. Went over to my friend Steve's at eight (I brought Heineken and blackeyed pea dip), was hammered before ten, partied hard, shot off a rocket indoors, shot a rocket onto Steve's Porsche, and shot a rocket onto the balcony where everybody was dancing. Almost got arrested, ended up passing out at Wal-Mart at 4am. A cashier woke me up at 5 and drove me home for ten bucks. Slept another hour, finally sobered up. Fuuuun.

Aw, phoenix, I, of all people should know the concept of 'it seemed like a good idea at the time'. Don't worry about it, you're among friends. I'm slightly envious as I haven't had a single drop during the whole festive time. Even if I did, I'm too uptight to get drunk. Pfft, not that fun.
What happened this year is too complicated to tell here, but thank you for asking. I am happier now, ready to move on. Now if only this flu would desert me....
