I wish I had saved the logs for one of my ooooolllld characters, but it still sticks in my mnid as one of hte more humorous and sad starts to life ever. This was about 2 years ago or so, so the details are paraphrased, and names made generic: (and top to bottom, per normal reading, not CantrStyle)

You spawn in an area with 5 other people.
You see 3 resources, etc, etc.
You say "Um.. *blinks slowly* he.. hello?"
You say "Someone... dr.. dropped.. th. this..."
You pick up 250g of rice.
A man in his thirties says "Jestem Antony wiejna t34d45645 something unknown language..."
A [different] man in his thirties says "ANGRY STRANGE LANGUAGE WITH MANY EXCLAMATIONS!!!1!!"
The [Different] man in his thirties points to you.
A woman in her twenties says "*shrugs apologetically* Wie no najnawsomething strange"
Every single other person in town strikes me with some sort of weapon.

yeah, no hard feelings towards the.. (polish?) characters there, because I was laughing pretty good at that, in real life. Never had quite as memorable a first day as that. Literally, within the first hour of spawning, the poor guy was dead, I can only assume because of either taking a bit of rice illegally, or speaking English, or both. Was awesome!
I'll have to dig up some other characters. One of my more favorite ones to play currently (names changed) though quite sad that SheGuard is gone.

I remember the first day for one of my chars, she sang some weird song about unicorns and pears. And she was completely tone-deaf at the time. People looked really annoyed. XD

Of course, that was also my first day playing Cantr.

Hated that town, yet another place to be spawned in only to be told to stay out of it you dont understand. How about explaining it so your newspawns don't buck off to someplace else? The only one willing to explain was the one the being accused. I was very upset as a player to see a really good char get murdered for something it had already been jailed for and clearly not everyone was all for the murdering of this man or he wouldn't have been released. What a waste for that player, I felt really bad for you. Here's to you for rping it out till the end, and shame on your murders for not giving you your rp due and killing you in your sleep. I did the best I could. *shrugs* Some people just dont care about reason. Did however make my char have a thing about the Spanish now. Tsk tsk, being so openly sore about thinking you were being "picked on" by a holy man only made one now not so holy hate your kind. Good job!

Seriously to someone that just got there they looked like mad hatters killing the first thing they could to get revenge for someone that had died that wasn't even murdered. They took into no account the story he tried to tell of the conversation that went on between him and Fighter and he made a good point about making a half witted woman a guard. To stand and scream she didn't know any better as an excuse for them to throw that conversation out was enough for my char to think. O.o Ok this guard (bless her I know she was loved) couldn't think clearly, but you put her in a position of power and left her alone with him to carry on this conversation to begin with? They couldn't show anywhere in their laws that he had broken anything other than he may or may not have stolen (this I cant judge) They locked him up for the crime of theft and still they were not satisfied, and they tried to starve him. He had paid his due already but they killed him for that same crime (so they said). The Spanish seemed to be upset because he couldn't translate some of the things he said into their language (also cant judge this for sure but still doesn't matter). If that's not walking into a pile of WTF I don't know what is. He was clearly leaving them and had no wish to be there anymore. The ones that killed him from what I could see where two crazed women with no real reason to kill him other than they had their panties in a wad. I think he was killed only because he was smarter than them and could talk them into circles a hundred times over, that and he was bothering their mourning period by trying to save himself...how rude. RP praise for Grigori over and over again. I dont care what woulda coulda happen in that town your on about Doug, being a newspawn and chewing all of that up when only the bad guy was actually saying anything of value...well it leaves the char to the same conclusion. Those Spanish are crazy.

I have the same experience with the Spanish characters mine has met in game. Especially one that recently passed away. :/

Maybe the "bear" was a little extreme, emoting about snout and paws, but other than that, all fine.
