^ Here, too, it's Boxing Day today.
On a different note, I am down with flu. I am glad that I still have 4 days to recover. *looks around with a face as green as the Cantr screen*

Here, it's only the 25th. Christmas season basically starts right after Thanksgiving though and then kind of ends with the New Year.

Oh, lol.
I started to make a snow man, then stopped because my attention wandered. There's now a largish lump sitting in front of our patio, with no discernible purpose.

This made me snort. Good thing I wasn't drinking milk.
Well, I am happy you guys all had a great holiday. Here in Baltimore, we were spared the storm (it got the areas to the North, South and East (even in Ocean City, Maryland, they got 14+ inches), but here it never rose to more than like a third of an inch.) OTOH, it was a great opportunity to take #2 practice driving in inclement weather (although my nerves could only stand it for 20 minutes before I had to take over the wheel), while I dragged everyone all around town (library, gasoline, three clothing stores (that same kid needed a suit, while another needed shirt and pants (why didn't he go with us LAST week when his brothers got??), and two needed gloves)). In case I need to say, I hate shopping. </rotd>
<totd> Well, of course, our 25th was spent like any other Saturday, in synagogue. But I've decided that, despite the fact that I'm not a big fan of New Year's resolutions, over the course of this coming year, I'm going to try learn the names of at least 5% of the congregants in this synagogue that I've been going to for like, 15 years!! It's not particularly huge, like this church, but it's not extremely tiny, either, like the one we go to on Friday night (where it's a tossup on whether we'll get the required ten men to pray, and my family alone supplies three of 'em!)...I'd say about maybe 2-300 people on a typical Saturday morning, and maybe 20-40 people during the week. But, as the Wicked Witch of the West says, "these things have to be handled delicately" It's kinda difficult to say to someone, "Hey, I know I've said hi to you every week for the past ten years, but what was your name again?" Anyway, off to a good start. I've learned four people's names Saturday (trying any more than that, and I'm sure my short term memory will overload).
(BTW, Alladinsane, I blame YOU for me even attempting this task).

You know what we chatted about and I hope that you find it successful. Sometimes one cannot have too many friends.
Oh...I liked your jibjabs too. Still trying to figure out which one was you.

Re: Thought or Rant of the day!!!
It's irritating when stuff needs doing ingame but your character is awkward at it so they wouldn't want anyone to see them doing it, so they end up not doing it and either tell/suggest others to do it, or not even talk about it because it might lead into the question of "if it's so important, how come you're not doing it?" And another character might not work on stuff because most projects are for commoners and not the elite, but working on projects suitable for the elite would require fetching resources from storage and making sure you have the right tools and overall it's so bothersome that I rather concentrate on talking instead. I wish it was possible to get resources from storage without having to enter buildings separately, as long as you know where to find things and have the right keys. Of course it would have to give the "you see x enter/exit location" event messages for everybody along the route, but you wouldn't have to load numerous pages when you know in advance what they're going to say and what you're going to click on. I think it would even make the game better if characters were allowed to pass through a room without paying attention to what's in it, this would make it possible to miss changes because you assumed everything was going to be the same way it always is.

Re: Thought or Rant of the day!!!
Thats what I thought, but the faces were a bit clipped so I had to determine who had the beard really quickly as it kept jumping around. There seemed to be more than two faces in that first clip...or maybe they were pics taken at different times. The one of your kids was cute too. Jib/jab has been alot of fun for a few years and though they seem to get the most hits during political seasons, or at least that is when the most clips and links seem to be distributed, they are fun all of the time and reasonably clean as well.

Oh.... well only two are user-supplied. The rest are just there... so... the one with glasses and a beard... does THAT help?
