It's been pretty quiet in Cantr all weekend. I think some people had the nerve to get lives during the downtime.

Yeah....one of my characters was victim to that. She was out travelling in the middle of nowhere and everything was okay, then the hacking happened. When Cantr came back, the other character fell asleep, and then [ four day rule ].
Lots of people sleeping in other places, too.
As well as soulless newspawns.

Damn. I just moved out of my ex-boyfriend's and he's got the xbox.

Well, it won't be out for just under a year, so maybe you'll be able to get hold of something before then? If my boyfriend and I ever broke up, I would fight him for the 360. We split the cost, and 'sides, the TV is mine. I made him get rid of his when we moved over Thanksgiving.


Speaking of which, moving leads to awesome discoveries. I just spent something like an hour digging through all the boxes still in the living room and found one full of old mementos. I was briefly nostalgic until I remembered that I was a miserable little sausage between the ages of 10 and 17 and possible crazy when I was 13, so I am instead relieved. I found PICTURES! Specifically, two of one of my best friends when he was 13 and they are the best things in the whole world.

Sadly, no. They're prescription meds for my bi-polar, and they're $200 a bottle. And my medicaid ran out, so where I used to have to only pay a dollar, I now cannot afford them at all.

I also can no longer afford the physchiatry visits to get the prescription.

One can hope. And I would have fought for the xbox, seeing as I helped pay off his debt and shit, but he had it when I moved in and I'm not on the lease and he's already being a dick and I just want to be able to get all of my stuff out of there. Besides, I have to be nice to him until I get my own place, because he still has my cats and I no longer have a key.

Evil, evil stuff. Bi-polar is a horrible disorder to have, especially without medication. That must suck something serious.

My mom had bipolar, and I've worked on studying mental 'defects' (not that I would consider it a defect), so I can understand the frustration/annoyance/just badness. Hopefully you can get your medication for it soon!

Ok, so how stupid is this terrorist...?

He desides it would be pretty neat making a marture of himself, getting the 40 virgins in the afterlife and whatnot.

So he buys a used car, which he puts a few tubes of LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gas) in. And wraps a bunch of pipe bombs around himself, brings a bag with explosives and nails in it, thinking something like "the more Swedish christmas shoppers I can take with me the better". Great idea!

He manages to set off some explosive or fire in the car, heating the gas tubes to a critical level. The only problem is that LPG isn't really that explosive, it just goes off in a big ball of fire and sets fire to his car, causing light injuries to two bystanders, and minimal damage to a couple of nearby cars. Then he runs towards the most crowded parts of the central city shopping area, and manages to set off one of his pipe bombs, apparantly placed right on his stomach - before even getting there. This pipe bomb kills him rather instantly, and sends the other pipe bombs and his bag scattering, without exploding.

This candidate for the Darwin Awards of 2010 didn't manage to seriously hurt a single person besides himself (well, there were a few traumatised onlookers, and a few people were shocked from the explosions, and a couple of windows broke).

This took place three blocks from where I work. If you watch the video, in the last frame there's a Guinness sign. We go there for after work beers once in a while.

I've thought about moving to Europe, but honestly, stuff like that's kinda why I'm scared to.
Between that, Australia (with all it's most deadly animals/insects/throw pillows) and whatever other countries where you can literally be executed for having something like weed in your bag (not that I smoke it--but what if somebody puts something in my stuff, ya know?) it's kinda terrifying to leave the States.
Plus, it's like super cold up there.

I know it's not realistically more safe, it just seems like every other day you hear about all these bombings and stuff, even in like the London Underground or whatever and you just feel safer 'cause all the bad people are way far away over the water.
It's the illogical fallacy this country's kinda built ever since 9/11, which is still an untouchable subject.
