Yes. Some towns have festivals to celebrate the millenniums (though I wasn't there for the first one. So close yet so far.). That, decade birthdays, and marriages, are the only festivals I know of. Perhaps there should be some general festival that happens more often than every 1000 days..maybe every 100 days.
Even though 100 day marks are significant, it only seems to be the 1000 day marks that really get people excited; me included.

One thing that annoys me is that when a person who has quit several times quits yet again, my only reaction is "that doesn't surprise me at all", and I can't feel anything for the character in the company of someone who died due to this quitting. My character just ceases to be a personality because he has no one to interact with, he ceases to have feelings and only continues to keep sailing because I wouldn't want some punk-ass looter to get a free ship if he died.

Dock the ship, wait for a newspawn that speaks three days in a row randomly pass all his crap off and walk down the road. Newspawn gets one heck of a break and you have control over were the stuff goes. Everyone wins.

I am getting soooo sick of Christmas music.
We had our Christmas "Winter" Concert last night, where maybe three songs weren't Christmas. One we butchered, one put people to sleep. The other one was loud and awesome, though, so that was okay.
Today we had the Christmas parade…same three songs over and over again. And then I went home, changed, then went back into town for Light Up [Town Name Here] to play the one awesome song from last night and then a ton of other Christmas music. And somehow I managed to mess up all of those, including my improvised solo.

At least there a few songs not traditionally arranged for band in the quartet piece I'm playing Friday morning at 6am. And I wrote it, so that makes it better, since I picked those songs.

So freaking mad that I saw several really old chars all move to lock themselves away last night when I was sleeping. Selfish, inconsiderate player/players. At least rp it out and not leave everyone else wondering what the heck that even meant.

Damn. I just moved out of my ex-boyfriend's and he's got the xbox.

On that note, super depressed/stressed/anxious because even though I'm ready for all that to be over, he's being an ass, took my key, most of my stuff is still over there (including half my clothes) and--oh yeah-- my KITTENS are staying there for now because I had to move back in with my mom and I can't take the cats there.
I just miss them so much, and his place is a shithole and he doesn't take care of them and there is NOTHING I can do until I get a job and my own place.

Well, apparently -- not long enough? Dial back the sugar, dear.

And no, seriously, I really, really needed it. Since I've gone off my meds it's the only thing that's cheered me up in ages.
