I like that feature because I can use it to monitor how much time I've wasted on Cantr. But I agree it's otherwise unnecessary.

EDIT: Actually, ALL uses of carriage return in large text box is producing this.

I've also noticed the "rn" thing amongst other characters. It hasn't done anything like that to me (at least, not that I can see). So perhaps it is selective somehow?

When typing in the text-box on the events-page, after passing materials to someone else:
Several lines of "undefined-undefined.undefined: undefined" showing up (stacking up at about one or two lines per second).
Looking back at my previous post, it seems it's the same thing reported there except in that post I said it was something with "undefined line", mistakingly.
In the current case it also applies that the person who the materials were passed to handed them back right away.
** Edit:
Okay, just found out that the passing of items/materials has nothing to do with it.
I was just typing something for the same character without anything being passed around in that location, and got the same result.
So far, this has happened to two of my characters (the one I first reported it for, and the one I'm currently reporting it for) but hasn't happened to any of my other characters yet.

And right after what I was typing got posted, these undefined lines dissapeared (but this time I also got the error that I wasn't allowed to view other peoples' events, the one which lands me on the main character page).

** Edit 2:
I think this was already reported by someone else, that there's been some issue with the "location" view where the graphic (map piece) wasn't showing, but now for the first time I'm getting that.
It seems to occur at random but be persistent with the session of the moment, in other words, it might possibly happen, and go away after logging out, closing browser, then returning for a new session.
Possibly cleaning the browser cache might also make this go away.
Not sure why this is happening at all, but hopefully what I just mentioned is a good work-around for others.

The wiki is at http://wiki.cantr.net/index.php/Main_Page
It looks like that other url is the old one (I don't remember for sure though).

Can you give examples of how you do this? Is there any textbox in particular? Pasting from one note into another note in edit mode?

It's very much looking like a time format: 3084-5.12: 23
I'll look into it.

It seems to be a problem with the large textbox (you know, for speaking). I"m using Firefox 3.6.12, if that makes a difference.

Chances are you're spot on with that... I should have noticed that too, but have been spending sleepless days and nights on figuring out with why my HD won't take a new OS install or even a simple formatting... ah well , back to work I go, and maybe today I'll actually get some sleep :p

** Edit:
And now I can add a third character that it happened to.
And this time I wasn typing anything in the text-field, though I ended up hitting the "events" button by accident and presto, there was a fresh new line from one of the other characters in that location.
Looks like it's something about timestamps not properly updating on the page when someone posts something new, in other words sometimes needing to refresh the page in order to see that someone posted something new while you were on the events page.
I don't see any other posts about this though, so perhaps it also matters that I'm using Konqueror for a browser...
(not that I've actively been searching for posts about this thing, just glanced briefly at the forums.)

I got the 404 message also for this link, on the standard mobile web browser on Android Motorola.

But the other link (http://wiki.cantr.net/) works perfectly fine.
Change the link in your bookmarks. Problem solved. :)

Unless he clicked something in game to get to that old non-existing page.

The link to the wiki that leads to a 404 is on the main page.
When the game just came back up, the webzine links also resulted in missing file pages for the link on the main page and when logging out; it forwarded to a no longer existing page (to the old e107 directory) but that already got magically fixed (oh okay, I'll credit it to who-ever fixed that instead of to strange imaginary magical pixies :p )

** Edit:
On the player page (listing all the characters and stuff) there is still a link to http://www.cantr.net/e107 which leads to a 404.

Confirmed (it's like this on test Cantr too). And that's a problem worth notifying players about..but I'm guessing an easy fix? Also, if you set your settings to go to Cantr wiki when you log out, then it takes you to the wrong link there also (when you log out).

Ah, I hadn't done anything with such settings yet...

Just encountered something on the log-in page of which I don't know if it's something important or not.
On the top of that page I got to see a zone error message, like this:

Cantr II
Day 3084 Time: 6:35:41
There are 20 days in a year, 8 hours in a day, 36 minutes in an hour and 60 seconds in a minute.
37 users were active in the last 15 minutes.
Zone Error

(forgot to add that the log-in just works fine though, that's why I'm not sure of how important a thing it might be)
