Hey, that doesn't always cover you. I documented everything quite neatly, in the now fried HDD on the PC sitting right next to this PC, and am also lost here and there.

Right, well... I can safely say that I will not spawn a new character until skills are overhauled.

Seriously, I have had enough of very weak chars. As if the deck wasn't stacked enough against me surviving pirate/random CRB attacks, I'm fed up with weak chars.

Apologies to those towns which watch my weaklings die away...

So? You think in the past 5 years I haven't played weak characters?

The point is I -only- play weak characters. I'm honestly sick of it. I've never killed a character for being a weak awkward fighter. But I have had numerous characters kidnapped or killed just because they couldn't defend themselves against those people who spawned strong experts.

The sooner skills are rewritten the better for everyone.

I mostly also play weak characters. Though yes some of them died. But what do you think can one expert fighter do against three kidnappers or two? If they want a char dead they can do it no matter how strong or weak yours is.

Your characters can't protect themselves using game mechanics, so you want to change mechanics. It's stupid approach in my opinion. Use your invention and create clans, hire guards, close ports, etc... There's so many possibilities. This's it. The most wonderful thing in Cantr is freedom. And sometimes someone want to play a bad guy. And you want to limit this freedom, because of your bad luck.

My solution? Concentrate newspawns in a big cities, where they are safer. If you want risky, but a really free life, you can go somewhere else.

Pfft some of my weakest chars are mean as heck, Store up healing food, train like all get out, and hook up with the stronger characters, they will protect you if you are loyal. LOL
