Some popular songs with a delicate oriental interpretation. Some of them are quite jazzy, too. Not everyone's cup of tea but I -love- it (it's in my genes

Re: What music did you listen to today?
I haven't had time to listen to music at all this week.
If I had, I would probably have listened to Avenged Sevenfold and/or Dream Theater.

You already know you can listen to music while doing other things, don't you?
But... oh, wait.... you're a man. Well... now I understand....

Just joking... Strong and good music, Echo.

Re: What music did you listen to today?
The problem this week has been that I haven't been at home except for just hitting bed and sleep for a few hours. I can't listen to music at work, and to and from work I've managed to forget my iPod every single day this week.

^ Excuses, excuses
Porcupine Tree - Don't Hate Me... Wow, what a start to my day!
A light snow is falling on London
All sign of the living has gone
The train pulls into the stations
And no-one gets off and no-one gets on
Don't hate me
I'm not special like you
I'm tired and I'm so alone
Don't fight me
I know you'll never care
Can I call you on the telephone, now and then?
One light burns in a window
It guides all the shadows below
Inside the ghost of a parting
And no-one is left, just the cigarette smoke

Re: What music did you listen to today?
Saturday night I went to see a small band play at a tiny pub. 3 guys playing acoustic; guitar, bass and minimalistic drums. They played covers of some famous songs their own way. E.g.:
Run to the Hills (Iron Maiden) in reaggae style.
Breaking the Law (Judas Priest) mixed with some Johnny Cash song in blues.
Bad (Michael Jackson) in reaggae style.
...and so on. It was great.

Found out they have a complete production of the Mikado on youtube, so I've been going through that in starts and stops since Friday.

My band director created a drumline cadence to this song. The cadence is awesome; the song itself is annoying, but it's funny.

Songs that I listened today?
Not enough space for it:P
Linkin Park - given up
Linkin Park - no more sorrow
... and all the other good stuff off LP
I really like Linkin Park, listened them for whole days a few years ago! But also like Gorillaz, Within Temptation, Paramore, and I really like Tim Knol - Sam @tm
But i'm not into one kind of music although i really like rock! I can enjoy all kinds of music.

Re: What music did you listen to today?
Believe it or not, I just listened to a Justin Bieber song. Thing is, it's slowed down by 800 percent, so it actually sounds somewhat cool. Otherwise - I'd be suicided by now (no red spell check underline for "suicided"? Neat.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QspuCt1FM9M
Other than that, I've been giving my DJ friend's experiments a listen - He's trying to mix Katy Perry into a really heavy metal instrumental. One day it might work.
Other than that:
Equilibirum - Snuffel
Freddy King - Tore Down
Paul Brandt - Country Girl
Hypnotic Brass Ensemble - War (really recommend these guys)
Russian Circles - Harper Lewis
Edit: The heavily slowed down Bieber song actually sets a good tone for watching the snowfall out my window. Shit into GOLD.
