Joshuamonkey wrote:That's not a good plan though. Plus, with more money, Cantr could do stuff like Google Adwords, which I've been looking into. Since February 2009, something like 200 people listed Google as the way they found Cantr (of the 1/5th or so of people who put a reference). In fact, one person put they found it from a Google text ad this last August...I don't know who put that ad up.
That would be Jos. We've had an Adwords campaign forever. It's the only advertising we pay for.

Re: Cantr II T-shirts
I would probably own more than one just to annoy my family that many times has cussed my cantr soul for refusing to do something with them in fear I might miss some important Cantr event.

Any votes for this idea?
Also, we took out "the":
"Your actions make history. What will you do? Cantr II."
It rhymes.

Re: Cantr II T-shirts
Im a huge fan of You Can Only Attack Me Once a Day. Maybe... Get Your Cantr On.
Even better Do You Know Where My Cantarian is, or When I Dont Reply Cantr Has My Soul....Hmm those might need some work but you get the idea.
I also think we should have one that is mailed around the world and pictures taken of the player wearing it and then forwarded it along. I would so do that.
Josh I just have a problem with the history, since most new characters dont bother to listen to history, though your idea may strike those types to play and that would be great. My bows to though that do though and there are some. I have said it before. If your bored ask someone why!

That's a good point, and in that sense, this might be better (the words also need to look good on a t-shirt):
Cantr II
Where imagination
becomes reality

That would cost money..but perhaps those who have a t-shirt could send pictures of themselves in the t-shirt, and then I could put all of the pictures together in a movie where the shirt stays at the same place, but the people and background change, and make it into a movie advertisement about Cantr (which I'm planning to do anyway). That would give the sense that Cantr players are across the globe; I've seen a similar thing before.

Re: Cantr II T-shirts
I just found out our ISP have a deal with http://www.spreadshirt.com/.
It seems you can easily set up a design & sell them. How do they compare in pricing to other sites?

Another idea is to use something that inspires conversation instead of saying something funny.
"Where were you when Doryiskom died?"
"I am not ignoring you, my minutes ran out!" (A throwback to the days when we actually could not do anything when the minutes ran out!)
and so on.

Re: Cantr II T-shirts
Not really serious but Cantr Shirt with Cantr Logo & saying on the back but on the front could be a Stone Knight or Blackrock or Baron or MacGregor or The Ancient Lad Empire shield or motto.

Re: Cantr II T-shirts
I like the simple "A woman in her twenties"....I would totally wear that with the web address on the back. It would get people to ask.

If I were to wear that, CK, they would think I was in the dating market. and I doubt my wife would appreciate it....

"a man in his forties"
"un hombre que ronda cuarenta años"
"[lojban equivalent]"
Pick one.
