That'd be the best luck :D wearing items and handing out things, or even buying space for a billboard.

I can only wish you luck with that.

First of all, people that RP on SL are mostly people that need some graphical environment in order to be able to RP (there are exceptions like moi, ;))

Secondly: most RP there these days is either Gorean or Vampire/Lycan stuff and I'm sure you don't want the first in Cantr.

What you could try though is seeking out the mudconnector website and get listed. It's because I could not access any MUSHes from work that I found out about Cantr. You might need to check with staff there first though, not sure if Cantr qualifies for them.

I noticed a lot of people are popping up that are using SL now.

In any case, after two years of being on there I'm really bored on there right now (other than my building) so if anyone needs help with anything on it and wants to contact me or something I'm happy to help, even if it's just giving LM's to cool places/places for shopping or whatever.

You could find me under Miss0rz Moonwall (the o in Miss0rz being a zero).
I hate people.

Just a thought, with Second Life perhaps Cantr could be promoted as 'a virtual world inside a virtual world'. The possibility of the idea fascinates me, anyone know if technically it's possible to do? I'm sure I have read somewhere that applications can be run inside Second Life, maybe a browser could be accessed to play a text game?

Yes, it's quite possible. SL is full of RPGs. It wouldn't be anything like the current Cantr, though.

I think Oob meant playing a SL character who is playing the real Cantr. You know like this:

Yes Abe that's exactly what I meant, never knew it was actually possible!

You've got people who like virtual worlds, so why wouldn't they enjoy playing a text one like Cantr in Second Life.

I mucked around with SL and had some fun but I didn't really have anything there to keep me.

Have you guys tried Blue Mars? (http://www.bluemars.com/)

I haven't - it is supposed to be like SL but with professionally made content that you can buy using ingame currency (like lindens).

Sign up to take surveys. You get $500 a pop, though they only come every few months.

Do they take a long time or are they pretty quick surveys?
