I've just been obsessing over my character's avatars. Obsessing.

We noticed!
Reveal to me the mysteries
Can you tell me what it means?
Explain these motions and metaphors
Unlock these secrets in me
Describe the vision, the meaning is missing
Won't anybody listen?

If I ever join FTO, remind me to memorise their wiki (or whatever it is that explains their game) word-for-word. Somebody go write a super-long, difficult test right now, just in case I do (though I probably won't).

I wish they had a wiki. I guess they want you to figure it out in game. Imagine a Cantr without a wiki and a build-menu that only lists the objects that you can create at the moment with the current resources on the ground, without telling you what resources or tools are required.

There is an interface guide though. That's something that Cantr should have, like this:

It looks good to me and would have been helpful when I started. I was a little confused for a while. If it is up to the new player to work hard to find out information on how to work the interface, you may loose them.

Hey thanks..that solves me an half hour of being like how do I play? I already saw the Wiki when I decided to join thats pretty good. but the buttons can be a challenge. Thanks again. I recommend that is posted on the Wiki.

Yes, I think it is a bit unlogical. I was thinking about it some time ago and made this:

Though I'm not sure this is any more logical and I could navigate blindfold after all these years. It'd more helpful to ask new players what they like about the interface and what parts confuse them.

I'm not sure how to resize the image on the Cantr Wiki.

I think you have to do a thumbnail and a full version yourself.

Thank you, EchoMan, for fixing the game! <3
In fact, I'm not going to make you lose the game now!

Now. On to what I was going to say earlier before I realised I posting in the wrong spot.

Withdrawal symptom of the month: going to the Cantr II page on Facebook and looking through the list of people who've liked it to make sure nobody has pressed "unlike". 'CAUSE NOBODY CAN "UNLIKE" CANTR! -cough- Erm.

Remember back when this poll started we thought "9+ days" would be enough for a the highest choice??

There was seven years worth of security holes to close. This time we seem to be doing it properly! :)
