Since we can't tame or domesticate animals yet, my assumption was that it was dead. And dead animals don't smile. Live animals doesn't even smile. Actually a dead animal have a bigger chance of smiling since a good conserver could fake a smile.

But sorry for so clearly going against everyones take on the alive boa.

A grinning puppy was my first thought. Take a look at a content cat, too, some time. "Appear to do so" is the perfect definition here, I think. Whatever, it is a very cute image.

And that latest image is lush! How was that done??

Edit: That updated SL image looks like the avi needs a bald hairbase underneath the custom hair. I like the smile btw, most of them usually make your avi look like they are baring their teeth in a nasty grin.

I am currently working on the image of a very special char, which I hope to post on Wednesday with the player's blessing.

She does. Whatever the problem is, it was caused by me replacing the original texture with my own. I would have preferred to have modified the original texture, but I can't figure out how to download textures that are built into objects (like the hair)

Alright, this one requires some explanation. This is Ariochus of Zuzi. You can see he's quite grumpy in this picture. This is because someone wrote the word "DEMO" all over him in black ink while he was sleeping soundly. He tried his best to wash it off, but it's obvious it's still there, just smeared. It also seems that they placed some cloth over parts of his body to give him odd tan-lines. He'd blame Kany, but she's gone, so, he's uncertain as to who the culprit is. Since he can't yell at anyone, he's just stewing in silence. He had to pull back his hair to wash his face - normally, it would be worn down (the flexihair kept getting lost inside the avatar, and it looked stupid).
