The best organized area of Cantr?

Postby SekoETC » Thu Jun 03, 2004 10:05 am

What is the best organized area of Cantr? I would suggest Sjoftich of all the places where I have (had) characters. To think how smoothly all the projects are going, and people are really motivated to work for the good of the community.
Now you others can tell your opinions and suggest the best organized town/village/area.

I would have to guess DoUrden, because they were pretty damn able of bringing the Lad Empire to terms- and have been quite effective in their past.

Sjoftich? I don't think so, it can be far more efficient than it is but they're attitude of caring for the worker seems to have worked.

But DoUrden, at least the members I've met recently, isn't much more then a gang, they aren't orgainizing for the good of the community, but for personal benefit.

This is why I can't pick any single place to name as "best orgainized". There's places like Siom, Tirqi, Quillanoi, etc, that orgainize for the good of the community. Then there's places like Karnon forest, Brinks forest, etc that are orgainized for perssonal benefit and the good of the community is just a welcome side effect to those who get to enjoy it.

The tendency of thigs so far appear to be along the lines of, "The smaller the group, the more orgainized it is", as in comparing whole towns to specific groups like the Collective, DoUrden, and Blackrock, no matter what their real purpose is. Town's tend to pick up "trash" and have alot of people "involved" that aren't really doing anything, with a group things aren't normally like that, in a group if you don't pull your weight you get left behind.

Most UNorganized

Postby debC » Thu Jun 03, 2004 2:45 pm

What about the most unorganized place? My vote would be Krif. It takes long wasted minutes to load the activity page. Very Sloppy.

Siom Forest North is quickly getting there in terms or organization... Siom is pretty good I think, but it's hard to tell through all the yammering on that happens there from time to time.

Aki Jalahardo Silver (or something like that) was starting to get a good footing when my char left there a few years ago...

Krif as a city might be somewhat disorganized, but as a region it is fairly united I think, thanks to much diplomacy.

In the good old days, Lad was as efficient as a hive of bees.

Olip Forest has a pretty damn big organization now, with everyone working together basically and everyone taken care of with everything they need.

Even though Siom has all of these divisions and what not, I find it a mess. Some things do not get done, items that are loaned out sometimes never find ther way back. There are tons of people sitting around that do nothing, and many that simply walk into town..take things and leave. Noone ever notices.

I left AJS recently because it started to fall apart. People were leaving, others dying, everyone just really stopped caring.

I would say the swedish parts is by far the worst orgainised I have seen. And it is all for one reason, there is not enough players. There used to be a lot more chars but since it was CR breaches it has all come to a halt and there are dead people and deserted project etc everywhere....

MrsE>

Yes, there are extremly few people playing in that area nowdays.
It would be kind of cool if the Swedish "island" would become an almost deserted continent...so that foreign powers can colonize the island :)

But better still would of course be if Swedish people started playing this damn game... :)

is that KF referring to karnon forest or a different one??

as for Tircqi, I have a character there, and it's pretty well organized, especially for having no real government system.

DoUrden might have been organized then, but their leadership has totally faulted since. Robert Smith has only been awake for one day in the past year. Not very hopeful.

Before the collapse, I think Lad was well organized, for some definition of 'well'
Don't know now.

It is a bit funny that towns like Brunoi, where the people practically live in total anarchy, seems more effective than towns like Quillanoi.
