He'll post entire thoughts in his *actions*. And not stuff that I would consider more helpful or something, like, *he pauses thoughtfully, thinking deeply*. No, it's like, *he pauses, thinking about the advanced state of decay that the world has come to, when suddenly people can read a person's every thought on their face*. And his grammatical and spelling errors are murdering me--I'm a bit a of grammar nazi, and every 5th word is missing a letter or has the wrong tense or plural.
ARGH!
It's the player that irritates me, really!
So there is MUD-style players sneaking in to Cantr too. I knew they got in to FTO. The player may just need time to adapt to the new RP style or could be a righteous arrogant idiot who insists on staying MUD style.
From your example I would consider that bad even for a MUD. "His heart beat louder than an orc drum as her hand brushed against his, reaching for the same goblet" rather than "He really fancied her so when their hands accidentally brushed against each others he felt all awkward and didn't know what to say." Both of them are doing the Cantr no-no of telling when the character is thinking but the first one is doing it on the emotional level and the second one is just stating indifferently.
