I had a somesort puzzling dream last night. I started to dream of myself waking up in several different places, in several dreams within dreams while trying to find a way 'out'. The dream seemed to start and end in a version of my own room where there were some creeps asking me creepy questiong and creeping me out. Eventually I headed into darkness and begged to wake up: finally I made it and walked outside. Some thirty minutes passed in all this, although it seemed a eternity.

I think the strangest thing was the feeling of coherence: the simple fact of at least one layer, the twisted room, being preserved throughout the dream simply makes me astonished. Although all settings were quite dark, most of them complete blackness, which simply destroys any referentials.

And of course! The first thing I thought after I woke up was about the latest DiCaprio's bigshit release, Inception.

The second thing was to laugh out loud off a passage of my dream: I hit on one girl while holding another with my arm. They glance at eachother confused and before they ask anything I turn and point to my crotch, winking and saying 'No worries. I have two'.

Last night I had a dream that I had X-rays taken of my brain and it revealed that I had fat deposits between the folds of my brain because I'm eating so unhealthily. I was feeling like is this really necessary, I already had the MRI taken, then okay, this only takes 8 minutes so it's shorter, and I won't have to go in a tunnel. And my MRI was normal. I'm probably concerned about my health because I know I eat wrong.

In my dream last night, there were far-away shots of people which came closer and closer to me.

They changed into different people randomly. I only remember two of them, but there was Fozzie Bear (from the Muppets) coming toward me and then turning into Osama Bin Laden.

Maybe that's why Osama can't be found anywhere... He's posing as a muppet.

I dreamed this dream in the mid 1990’s and have always wondered what it was about. I rarely dream in color but when I do, I generally remember that dream vividly.

In the dream, I am standing on a plain in the Serengeti close to a watering hole or lake. Three black rhinos run past me and I am compelled to follow them. As I turn to follow, I realize there are three indigenous/Maasai(?) women who are pregnant following me. They are singing as they walk. I turn and say something to them, (I can’t remember what I said or what they were singing) and smile then follow the rhino to the water. Now, this is the part that upsets me: In our wake, is left only waste and fouled desolation.

And then I woke up. The color was very vivid in the dream as is the Serengeti in real life or at least from the pictures I have seen of it. I’ve never been to Africa and really don’t know much about the area at all. I have always wondered about the obvious symbolism in the dream. I would like to have this one analyzed.

Best. Dream. Ever.

The thing that immediately struck me is the number three. Three rhinos, three mothers, three unborn children. That's a triple triumvirate.

Water can symbolize both life and death, but in this case, with the desolation behind, and the pregnant women following you, I think it would symbolize life.

In a way, the dream seems to be a representation of time. The past no longer exists, so it is dead. The future holds hope and promise.

All the dreams I really end up remembering I start off already dead. How messed up is that? The biggest and scariest one, it starts of and I'm dead, underground, in the collapsed remains of the gym hallway in the highschool I was in freshman year. In front of a vending machine. The space forms a sort of pyramid and there's water dripping somewhere. I'm waiting for Him, but at the same time I'm terrified for him to get here. I leave to go above ground through a tiny crack (I don't have a body or a form or anything). Up top, it devoid of life, and dark. I go to a huge parking lot (bigger than a SuperWalmart or football stadium size). It's dark too, but it's got some streetlamps that give of a sickly yellow glow. There are a bunch of cars parked there with people going up to a giant staircase (like the one they always showed in cinderella when all the women in the kingdom went to try on that shoe) which is packed with people. The ones going up all have dogs. I helped a woman (I'm not sure how) with a very pregnant chihauhua get it down the stairs since it wasn't fit for whatever they were doing (it was so pregnant we were afraid to jostle it too much). I get to the top and people are pushing the dogs into a lightless black void to the left of the staircase, claiming a corrugated cardboard coat, and going down. At some point I saw my mom and I was with her when I realized what was happening and I was so mad, like shrieking mad. I remember saying "They're not even using them for food!" I rescued two beautiful dogs and gave them to my mother for safekeeping out in the parking lot and went to do something, and when I had returned she had given them to the void. I was pissed and when back to my little collapsed cavern thing and then I could hear Him coming and I got scared and woke up.
Pointless, but it really freaked me out somehow, and my Symbols and Structure class couldn't make much of it either. Make of it what you will.

Also, in Jungian theory water is a symbol of both the womb and the collective unconscious. With three moms with buns in the oven you're big focusing Mommy stuff. Did you happen to know anyone who was pregnant, or meet someone thereafter who was pregnant?
Did you ever donate to a sperm bank? (IDK if you are male/female sorry)

I wish. Then the answer would be easy--I'm Anya, waiting for Xander to come back for me.

I had a dream with terrae dragons from DragonCave but I can't remember what they were doing, or if they were just pictures.

Edit: I shouldn't double-post so I'll just edit this one. Last night I had a dream that I was in a car, on the back seat, and it started moving without a driver. I've had dreams like this before. I had the feeling that some young women in the car driving behind me were steering the car through telekinesis. I think they were frustrated they couldn't pass me since the car was moving from side to side but there wasn't room to pass. Then when we got pretty close to where my parents live, the car ended up on the grass at the side of the road and the women drove past me and then I couldn't see or sense their presence anymore. I was calling my dad to pick me up, but if he came there by car, he would have to leave the car there to drive the car I was in so that would've been a bit silly. I was wondering if I could drive even though I don't have a license. Somehow the thought of having to use the clutch and accelerator seemed overly complicated, I didn't think I could manage it at least well enough not to raise the attention of traffic cops.

Later in the dream I was going on a summer camp and when I was there, I found out it would last a month, and I was like holy crap, I wasn't prepared for that long, I didn't even tell anyone in Cantr I was going to be away and my account is going to time out. Then I remembered that there was a computer at the camp so maybe I could use it frequently enough, although not as much as at home. But I was still unsure if I could manage to stay there. It seemed like such a big thing.

This is one of the scarier dreams I've had that I can remember.

Yes, I had this one in June. Like all the other dreams I remember.

Basically I was trying to commit suicide by not breathing, not eating, cutting, etc. I was so close, too, and then paramedics and doctors came to dissuade me. Finally, as I was about to kick the bucket, they revived me, though not happily on my part. They made me eat again and nourish myself. Later, I was in some mall, and I heard tons and tons of gossip about how I'd tried to kill myself but even failed at that. Then, somehow, I was outside in some pool-like thing that fat people were swimming in even though it was actually blue tarp. But somehow they were swimming in it. I really don't remember much else. But it was really, really disturbing.

And then what I remember of last night's dream…uh, let's just say that it involved a really tan guy, a kidnapping, a lack of pants, and my attempt to refuse to allow myself to see said pantsless-ness.

I totally don't blame you. I was completely freaked out when I woke up from it.

I dreamed that my wife sent me to test-drive and buy a new red corvette. It was going to be the match for the corvette she was already driving.
----------------------------------------
I told her about it (since I rarely remember dreams) and her response was: "yep, you were definitely dreaming". So I guess there aren't any sports cars in my future.

====================================
Not even my favorite car and I think I might be a little old for a mid-life crisis unless I am going to live alot longer than I anticipated.
