Non-Cantr related dreams
There are other dream topics but they're so old that I'd rather not revive them.
My most recent dream that I remember involved aliens extracting my liver so I had to get a new one installed, and the new one was grossly over-sized so that it was like a hot water bottle that was wider than my stomach, and I could feel it sort of wobbling inside of me, like a giant piece of jelly. Also it wasn't in the right place anatomically, I know because I had been reading Wikipedia on human anatomy prior to sleeping and was surprised to notice that the liver is located so high. I saw the aliens remove organs from another person who appeared to be dead, and then it skipped to me getting the new liver, so I must've lost the old one in between. Then I remember the stitches stretching and gaping and I was concerned that it might rip, or at least not heal properly and cause a huge scar. And how could it heal at all when there was almost an inch gap between the edges of the cut? But it didn't hurt or anything, just felt like a heavy hot water bottle sloshing around in my stomach.

Re: Non-Cantr related dreams
I totally know the feeling!
The weirdest dream I remember having was several years ago. I had just heard that day IRL that my friend was to get an expander in her mouth so she could braces. I knew it wasn't a surgical procedure to implant it out of process of elimination (i.e. It would be ridiculous to surgically implant that).
So that night when I went to bed, I fell asleep, and I dreamed that I was at some big hospital place downtown that had a food court that looked oddly liked the mall's food court. We were there because, in my dream world, my friend's expander had to be surgically implanted, and so we were there to meet the oral surgeon who was going to perform that procedure, as well as extract my wisdom teeth. Anyway, it was really crowded, and my friend and I were on the second story on a balcony-like thing. Some basketball star and his son were there, and they were showing off and tossing these amazing passes to each other. Suddenly, the son was distracted by something, and he threw the ball and it hit me in the head (I was leaning over the balcony). The impact was so strong I fell over the balcony and landed on a table below, breaking it in half. The next thing I remember was being strapped to a gurney and being wheeled into the OR, and the doctors saying something about several broken ribs penetrating into my heart and that they were going to have to do open-heart surgery. So they strapped a mask to my face, and made the first incision across my chest as I nodded off...
...and then I woke up.
It didn't hurt or anything; it was just so unbelievably weird!

lol Continuing on the surgery theme, one time a while back I had a dream where I was stuffing my mom's stomach with tuna salad through an incision in her side.

Re: Non-Cantr related dreams
Ooh! I have another one! I don't remember as much about this one, but still.
I apparently had some brain deterioration issue, as in, my brain was literally losing mass by the minute. So I was bound to my bed basically with a ton of IV's running into my arms. Some time later, they shoved me back in an ambulance and went to do some sort of brain surgery. The next thing I remember is waking up in my bed, and not knowing where I was except for the fact that it was my bed, and it was pouring rain. So I got up and tried to walk around and there was this odd harness on my head preventing me from doing so. Then I tried to take it off, but each time I succeeded there was another one in its place, and in my frustration, I kept forgetting random things. In retrospect, the surgery was obviously a failure, but later when the doctors visited me again they told me it was successful, and.....
I completely forget what happened after that.

Re: Non-Cantr related dreams
Couple nights ago had a dream where the injection site on my inner left elbow was swollen, purple and filled with small maggots, which I knew about and removed nonchalantly one by one at various times within the dream.
Art evokes the mystery without which the world would not exist.

I also remember one dream I had where a cartoon raccoon had me strapped to a bed. There was a giant blade thing suspended above my feet, and the raccoon pressed a button and it came down on my ankles, chopping my feet clean off. I blacked out for a moment, and then woke up in my bed in my bedroom(in my dream) and was attempting to walk on my "stumps" to the bathroom without alerting anyone, but I mostly ended hanging out on the left corner of my bed.
It didn't hurt, either; it just felt like.....
If you've never worn eyeglasses before and had to wear some for the first time in your life, that really uncomfortable feeling on your nose as you try to get used to wearing them is exactly how my "stumps" felt.

Re: Non-Cantr related dreams
Last night I had a dream about crashing a helicopter on the side of a ravine, spending two seasons on this grassy outcropping of the ravine wall, complete with the ruins of an ancient temple and two more stranded people. In the winter, my parents finally sent soldiers from a nearby training camp (where I had been trying to fly to) to find me.
The night before that, I came into possession of some super-awesome-and-secret documents, and spent the entirety of the dream on the run from various people who were trying to kill me and/or obtain the documents.
Those are pretty standard dreams, though.
I had a very, very, very long dream many years back, where in part of the dream, I had accidentally killed my best friend in the bath tub with a rusty razor blade, and then ran away before the police could figure out it was me. (I hadn't outright murdered her, but I did have some blame in the accidental death.) Instead of, you know, feeling guilty, I ended up hanging out in a hospital and arguing with shop clerks about the faults of their sandwich-labeling system.

You have succeeded in assisting me ruin my pants and the couch.

"The faults of their sandwich-labelling system." That is one of the most random things I have ever heard.
I remember this dream from when I was three or four, most likely the former. There was a dollhouse in my room, but it was different from the one I'd gotten for Christmas that year IRL. I remember it resembling a hotel or something like that. So I was in my room, and I was trying to turn on the lights, and there was that flash that basically tells you that the light bulb just died. I left the switch up and went to play with the dollhouse (which was when I noticed it resembled a weird-looking hotel). Then I left the room for some reason, and I went back in, and pieces of the dollhouse furniture were floating in the air, just randomly.
And going back to the original theme of surgery, this is another dream I vaguely remember. Apparently I had appendicitis and a huge gash of unknown origin on my arm, so they wheeled me into the OR for an appendectomy, but I had indigo jeans on. I remember "waking up" from the anesthesia and looking down the jeans to see if they really had done anything, and sure enough, there were stitches. And my arm looked as if somebody had gotten a little creative with the brown, red, and blue Crayola markers.
I also had another dream where I'd apparently had a miscarriage and I had to take these weird drug things that resembled the Gerber graduates gummy things (which aren't that bad, actually, but I digress). Somehow, I'd also ended up being in the chorus at the local high school.
There are more, and there are even some I have written down.

Possibly one of the weirder dreams I've had was recorded by artist Jesse Reklaw in his dream chronicle "Slow Wave". So if you want to see me as I really am (or was, a decade ago) http://www.amazon.com/Night-Your-Life-S ... 159582183X page 250 (search for "Turniansky")

Re: Non-Cantr related dreams
I can't remember if it was two or three nights ago (well, days since I've been sleeping during the day lately) when I had this dream but there was someone selling gym membership, and my mom said it would be good for me, so I ended up accepting it without looking at what the deal involved, and then I end up getting this cardboard box with kendo equipment and some sort of an insignia patch and I'm like oh, since when are martial arts and a gym considered the same thing? Then I went there and I was late so I didn't have time to put my martial arts uniform on, so I just took the sword along and then I got mildly scolded for bringing it. But none of the others had martial arts uniforms either, just regular t-shirts and sweatpants. Then there were all sorts of weird practices like swimming on the floor, kinda like jumping but parallel to the ground and pushing with your feet like a frog swimming. I felt embarrassed to admit that I hadn't read any of the introduction material that the box contained.

Re: Non-Cantr related dreams
I had this dream back in June, and I wrote it down. Some of the text has been slightly altered.
This dream reminded me of another dream I had involving an amusement park similar to Busch Gardens where the weather was overcast and dreary and I lost two of four phones; one in some water ride and the other just....disappeared.
So that night I dreamed that I had returned back to the real world (a.k.a. band) that night, and there was something to do with the bass clarinet book I had to look at. Then I met this guy from my school named Mike (for reasons I still don't comprehend) just before the break of dawn outside near some cliff thing (we were at the bottom). I explain something about how my phones got lost (with remarkable accuracy). So for some reason my real phone appears, and so we spend the rest of the night staring at the stars in the dark green-blue sky. At some point we both fall asleep and wake up at daybreak. Mike had woken me up, and we spent time talking quietly, and then I woke up to my allergies.
Apparently you have "dream memory"…? I'd forgotten I'd even had the Busch Gardens dream until I'd had that dream I described up there just now.

Re: Non-Cantr related dreams
I have dreams where I'm talking about the dream I just had, so yea, dream memory
I almost never remember my dreams. The dreams I do remember, I can't post here. I kept a dream journal once, and I was able to remember a lot more. All I can say from that is that I'm very, very strange.

You sound just like me!

Not all of my dreams are appropriate to post here. I've had some pretty disturbing ones that I really wish I would forget.
