Win7 Home Premium + Norton + CantrSpy 2.7 = no problems at all.
WinXP SP3 + Symantec + CantrSpy 2.7 = no problems at all.

I'm now running CantrSpy 2.7 it's great, thanks Joo! :D

I don't quite understand the Tick Timings, and them 'being off' again?

EchoMan wrote:The tick timings seem off again though. Things on the wiki seems correct for sea and land travel, and projects. I'm not sure about the rest.

When I view the Tick Timings it has Land travel frequency shown as Hourly, but seems to display 2 hour times remaining?? *confused*

Could someone explain Tick Timings and how to make use of them please.

One cantr hour is three real life hours. The tick timings show you the time remaining in real life hours.

Thanks, I thought it was Cantr hours. I can't relate when events happen to my characters with the Tick Timings displayed on CantrSpy, I assume the tick timings at 00:00:00 are when events happen in game.

The real life times I see look to be in UK Summer Time (GMT +1 hour) but I don't think the tick timing 'clock roll-overs' occur when character events occur, do they? Should they coincide, I assume so. It's the tick timings being off that's adding to my confusion, is there an adjustment that has to be made so I will know when my character arrives at his/her destination etc?

No, Joo has to do the adjustment on the server where he host the scrip.

Joo,

I changed the Cantr password and now CantrSpy does not work. I use Linux and the installation was done on the directory. .opt
I have uninstalled and deleted the folder CantrSpy (in the user directory), but the old settings persist after new installation. What files should I delete or edit?
Cantr II is a social simulator. What is not working is due a problem in the society.

You can change your password by logging out (right click icon > log out) then logging back in with the new details.

The login details are stored in an EncryptedLocalStore provided by the AIR Runtime, and, according to Adobe:
http://help.adobe.com/en_US/air/reference/html/flash/data/EncryptedLocalStore.html wrote:Encrypted local store data is put in a subdirectory of the user's application data directory; the subdirectory path is Adobe/AIR/ELS/ followed by the application ID.

I'm not sure where user-specific data is stored in Linux installations, but it should be somewhere in there. You shouldn't need to, but you should be able to reset the store just by deleting it.

Unfortunately not. Even uninstalling and reinstalling CantrSpy it retakes the old settings that are in the folder above. But just delete the folder that CantrSpy reintroduces the page for new configuration.

In Ubuntu: /home/[username]/.appdata/Adobe/AIR/ELS/joo.cantr.cantrspy.2B6722E929B7D7BD9DF1B4A5AEB4C3D86354A870.1

Er, so at what point did the method I described to reset the password fail? Does it carry on logging in with the old password even when you enter a new one?

Hello. I'm trying to make it work under mandriva 2009.1. Any tips? After loading the program, it shows nothing, no message and no icon, but the system activity window shows it's running smooth on the background.

I'm downloading Mandriva now. I'll try to see what the problem is.
