Bodies?

Postby Kelli » Wed Jul 07, 2010 11:33 am

I've noticed something strange and feel like I'm going crazy...

Lately, a lot of dead bodies just...haven't existed.....

I saw one person get killed by an animal....no body.
I saw one person get killed in a darter...no body.
And now, I'm PRETTY sure someone died in a building yet....no body.

errrrrmmmmm????? *scratches head*

If they were very young people their bodies dissappear after death.

How young is very young though? Only one of them is what I would have considered very young...

This is very strange to me then....

Quite a while back I chased someone down who had stolen a cart and some maps, and some carrots. She was killed less than four rl days later. Yet my charrie couldn't get on the cart even while holding hardly anything. I assumed it was due to a body being in the cart...I mean....I don't think the thief took that many carrots....ROFL

Now I'm deadly curious....O.o

They have to be young, but also need to be inactive, I believe, for the body to disappear.

Not inactive but a newbie. This one time there was a newspawn maybe two days old, who was causing all sorts of trouble, coming onto my character (both of them male), so I dragged him inside and played along. Then he got ashamed of trying to troll and unsubbed to get a clean start. The body vanished but the guy had been very active on the two days he lived, so it's not related to inactivity.

People who die in a vehicle that has no room for a second person to enter have to be moved out by the staff. There's a sticky topic for it.

And I know...I just didn't have time to get the cart myself yet, and thus haven't posted about it. ;)

Well, I just cleared all blockages, and you're cart wasn't on the list.

I haven't complained about it officially yet...I'm not ready to go reclaim it with my charrie yet.

Now that I've looked through that thread, I'm not sure if it really answers any questions. There are a lot of other threads about this, though.

Back when there were 3X as many players, newspawn bodies were a problem. Towns were getting buried in them.
