Your parents.
you get to pick the gender you queue as, but your name is chosen for you.
(I don't have any adults, so unsure if it's actually the mother, or just RP'd as the parents, and the system chooses a random name?)

The mother does, and the mother's player inputs them in the system

La tee tum... waiting in the queue is boring. I didn't really have to with my first character, so it's a new experience...

I miss FTO a lot right now, though. Cantr just doesn't do it for me anymore.

My father named my char, but the mother is who must enter it into the system. Sadly, FTO didn't really hold me even though I RP'd the hell out of my baby. I don't know why I can't stick with it... Sorry to my family, whoever you are. Maybe I'll give it a 3rd chance sometime.

Your position in the birth queue is: 10

All right, getting ready...
I want some cool, unusual race *crosses fingers*

I stopped playing mainly because the interface sucks! The silly background always blended in with the words so it was really hard to read. Also with the text box being small with a small font,it drove me to headaches. Also my parents were crazy which was fun, but they would leave us for long periods of time and we'd have to fend for ourselves. Then they would return even crazier and would kill or punish the siblings that tried to make live better at home. Mama was a jealous bitch, for sure.

+999 to that :? Sometimes you need to scroll the screen around becouse what you want to read just happened to have a brighter part of background behind it, which gives 0% chance of readability. Tinny greyish letters on black are not much better, anyway. And trying to get the forn bigger browserside makes all those tiny windows fly around the page, making it look like redesigned by some mad modern artist.
And what's worse, you absolutely NEED to be much more awake than in regular Cantr gameplay :P
Oh, and the inventory/items/crafting systems. Another manifestation of Evil Lord Lumin's genious

I was 25th in the birth queue yesterday and now about a day after I'm 26th because someone decided to stop being inactive. When someone goes inactive, it should be considered similar to going to sit down on a bench and when they want to get back in the queue, they should ask the others if it's okay to cut in line. It would be interesting if when you log in, it would say "since your last login, you walked past x people who got tired of standing in line and decided to take a break" or if you went inactive, it would say "you got tired of standing in line at (date). You would be at position x but now you're only at y" and then it would give you the option to harass the people ahead of you in the queue, up to the position you would've reached if you had been active. It would create some interactivity.
