Re: Day 3000 festivals
What a shame! None of my characters are still able to know what year it is...

Re: Day 3000 festivals
One character at a festival, one leisurely celebrating it with some company, and the others don't care, or don't notice. I'm actually quite enjoying the sudden influx of active RP, since some of the areas I'm in have been awfully quiet, or just plain repetitive.

Re: Day 3000 festivals
I'm hoping there's at least one Woodstock-esque festival out of all of this. Beer-drinking, music-playing, casual sex...ing - But seriously. I'm anxious to hear what everyone thought the best festival was. It's not often the whole Cantr world can collectively come together and celebrate something, so there is bound to be some good ones.

None of my characters were at a place that had a day 3000 festival

Re: Day 3000 festivals
Both of my characters involved found them about overwhelming, but I think I liked QFN more, maybe because I've been to the previous one so I'm familiar with the pattern, although it was a bit different this time. I enjoyed watching Fighter and she seemed to activate a lot of people around her. It's a shame that it ended so shortly. At the other festival it was a bit tiresome to read the song but I tried singing it aloud and having a random melody to it makes it easier to absorb. I generally don't like poetry but I like music.

Re: Day 3000 festivals
QFN's was definitely a step down from past festivals, I think. There really seemed to be an overall lack of interest. Fighter was the only character that gave it a pulse, IMO.

Yeah, QFN was kind of quiet. LOL But,still, it's been better than Seatown's! *sniffle* Which is a crying shame, considering my character did a lot of the planning.
The only event that was amazing about it was a marriage proposal. The rest of it seems to be stuff that normally goes on in the place anyways. LOL

Re: Day 3000 festivals
I think QFN might be falling asleep due to Merci sleeping so much lately. A general apathy. Or there is random chatter but when I'm outside in there, I don't really know anybody, even if I knew the names, those people mean nothing to me. I like the people from Brunoi, they seem like they have depth, but the younger population in QFN just doesn't appeal to me.

Maybe Fighter should run away to QFN and change that....LOL!
Too bad she already accepted a job in Brunoi.

Re: Day 3000 festivals
Merci, as I know her, always only woke up about twice a day. I guess she did sleep through most of the festival, though. Probably just because it's summer. People find lives in the summer.

Every single town should have a Fighter, lol.
I'm glad she accepted that job in Brunoi.

Re: Day 3000 festivals
Festivals stink. The sheer massive amount of text to read whenever I got to my char there just made me click "events" five times and wish it was over with already so I could be bothered to react on stuff. And so darn inproductive! How the heck are civilizations supposed to form when everyone is just chit-chatting and drinking beer?

Thanks to Jessica, we eschewed the typical 3K festival for a 3003 festival. good times, good times.
