Why do I like Baaak? Because I know there will always be something going on there. Very few other places I have found give me that consistency. The people there are very nice and entertaining. And as I use F*ck and Sh*t in my normal life, it doesn't annoy me one bit. Plus it is a sea town! Sailors always have dirty mouths!

Well, I didn't notice any craziness when my character visited Baaak, although I was a bit startled by the swearing when it came totally out of the blue but I figured he was just upset over someone dying or something - and having Tourette's syndrome?

Ahh no....swearing is quite...common there. In fact it would be odd if there was none.

Ahh, Baaak. Fun little town, even if Puddle OOC'ly irritates me, on occasion. Not a citizen, but its always been entertaining to be there, even if I am on my ship most of the time. :)

3014-6.34: You see Sev efficiently hurt Sev using a bare fist.

3014-6.34: You notice Sev whom you haven't seen before.

This really annoys me so very much!

Same here. They should just make strength and fighting skill visible straight away, or better yet, allow people to see them before they confirm the character so that the losers who can't play a character who's a bad fighter can just die before they're born. If you cancel, it would enter the character as having died on the same day they were spawned and block a slot accordingly.

Why be annoyed? If you're lucky, Sev will kill himself :-) More annoying would be if Sev hits YOU with his bare fist..... but yeah, I hate newspawn who immediately just "test" everything, rather than just finding stuff out over the course of time. Heck, my char still has lots of untested skill, and it's been here almost 3 cantr years.

If you drag yourself you can also see your skill at fighting and no one else can see you do that. Its annoying to see someone do that because of seeing that the player only cares about one thing.

Yes, it annoys me too. But I guess some people do it because they are thinking about Role playing a fighter of some kind and they just don't want to jump in blind until they are certain their characters are really fighters. Although, yes it is totally possible to learn it with RP and without it being so annoying. Besides, a character shouldn't decide he wants to be a fighter on the first day of is life anyway, he might have just spawned in Dunja's town and will probably have a bad time becoming a fighter.

It doesn't annoy me....I do it simply so I know what kind of description to give the person and so I know if they can defend themselves should the need arise. It also helps me determine how confident the character is.

I didn't know about the dragging or I would have been doing that instead..XD

Of course I'm also curious of how good in fighting my new spawn is. I have had a new spawn who lived for about 4/5 years without knowing his fighting skill. And its actually not that important to me.

It could even be said as oocly.. As its for you as a player and not for your char. Also what has confidence to do with fighting skill? I'm confident of myself but I can't fight lol.

LOL...the strenth doesn't determine the personality. Here's how I view it:
You spawn and have no experiences in life. You haven't interacted with anyone to develop much of a personality. The only thing you can do is look down at yourself. You are good looking and strong....Hmmm....you can do great things!
*tons of bad things happen*
Ope...you lost your confidence.

And vice versa. :P

I still don't see what that has to do with spawning and hitting yourself and after some time say your name. As thats just bad rp.
