Towers

Postby C4 Dark Saint » Fri Jun 25, 2010 3:11 am

I'm sorry if this or something similar has already been suggested but I just thought it would be a good idea.

Adding Towers to Buildings.

Being able to have the otion to build a certain kind of extension. (could be made from wood, stone, bricks, ect) and be able to see every one outside and what they're doing. Also having a slight chance to over hear conversations that are spoken outloud. (not whispers)
In the tower there should be little room, say.. two, three people at max?

any suggestions and/or opinions are welcomed

LOL this suggestion seems to me that your evil char can better know whats going on outside when he is hiding inside.

I was tempted to suggest a "Pavilion" or "Gazebo" type structure, which would allow you to hear things similar to being in a vehicle, but still count as a "building".

Then I realized the game-mechanics of such would pretty much make that the preferred style of building for ALL machines, and kill off the current style of building-location causing too many problems with possible exploiting of such.

Just find one of those nice places that are land locked and have a boat built in them. They're great for public executions

You haven't been able to do that for quite some time.

I don't like this suggestion. Though I would like very much towers to see people on the road and being able to shoot leaving thieves and such without having to step onto the road.

Yeah my past evil chars popped into mind while I was thinking about this, but It's handy in more then the "Hide and kill" tactic.

And sounds like you're trying to use that to counter act my chars ;) lol

Not only yours :D. And yes a certain char of yours came into mind when you suggested this. As that might have been useful for him.

I rather liked how it did end. Anyway I think people hiding in buildings already have the advantage.

It may sound strange enough, but I liked the ending.. only because it gave me a chance to take a break from cantr.

Besides I now have four people with the equivalent of roberts fighting skills and strength, so more trouble! just more planned out. lol. (btw sorry about going off topic)

If you tried playing a good char you wouldn't need this implemented.
