It'd be sweet if no one knew what foods to mix and all the stuff so we all have to experiment to find good healing medicines, then the information could be sold...
In order to accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan but also believe.

Your wish will be granted :)

In fact, anyone who leaks it will be needing some medicine themselves, 'cause I'll come after them

So I get my medicine-making equipment, pick random ingredients, and end up making something dangerous if I do it wrong? Good. Thats how it should be! I think a few recipes should be dangerous/slightly damaging, a lot should be useless bu not dangerous, and then you get the useful ones...

Though make it relatively sensible, please!

Actually... No. It won't be like that. It will be like every other project. You click a link, it tells you what you need, kind of thing. It would require programming to implement what you're suggesting, and there's so many more important things that need to come first, I'm afraid. I do agree, it would be better if you could mix and match things to get just the right medicine - but it just won't happen now or anytime soon.

Plus, just so you all know, the Medicine system has been finally approved. I will be putting everything into the database today, so sometime shortly you will have medicines :) Or at least, the potential to make such a thing. Doesn't mean you'll have medicines for awhile :P

I like the idea of some meds not being good for you (poison) but could the programing done so that some meds could make things blury. it would take longer for you to get into a building, it could mess up what you hear and see, so for a while everone is "A Stranger" something like that. I don't know much about programming so I don't know if this could cause problems or not.

If Programming can't do it, then I'm just going to have to RP it

AH HA!

The Medicine systems are in the game. Took me all day, but shush. It got done, none the less.

First of all, I can't tell you how to make medicine - no one can - unless you find out in game. And even then, you can't break the CR :P Anyway, making medicine won't happen for awhile, actually. With the way it's set up, I plan for it to be at least a month before someone successfully makes some medicines.

The only thing I ask, is that if you find a problem, please message me. I put all the entries into the game myself, so if there's a problem, it would be my fault, and my job to fix it :P

None the less, have fun finding the ingredients. Because they aren't in the game yet (Sorry). So until they're in, you can't really do anything with the medicine stuff, hehe. Oh well, when they're in, you can go find everything and see what you can make :P

So we won't be able to reconstruct characters from bodyparts yet

hey, if we have medicine soon why don't we have poisons? We could make poisons and have them in the inventory. if you have it in the inventory you can give a person the poison, and they would not see you do it... that would cause a small bit of loss everyday.... maybe a point a day per gram of poison. with a max of 50g to be given?

how would you go about making that work? maybe the same way you travel slower with a full load? i dunno. but i think with all the political stuff happening all over, poisons should be in the game.

of course antidotes would be one of the medicines right? :)

Why don't we have them? Because it requires Programming. And, I think it's a bad idea.

Can't see them use it? Someone run run in, rab everyone with thie poison, run off, do it again somewhere else - and another person is bound to do the same thing at the same location, eventually everyone would be dead, running around poisoning everyone.

It just would be nonsense.

Ah, but poisoning was an intricate part of politics for a very long time, it just seemed appropriate to have them in Cantr.....Can you imagine how fast things would change if someone poisoned all the people in charge of Lad?

Can you imagine how fast things would change if everyone had a hold of poison? Although I agree, it's a good idea and all, it would probably need to be VERY hard to get any type of poison or something, so that there are few deaths from poison. In real life, how easy is it to get ahold of poison? Or make it? You'd really need to know what you were doing.
