Re: The I AM thread. (The 4-day rule applies!)
I'm pretty lonely out here, and I think that girl was on to something.
I've secured this old house for myself, and I want a damn axe now.
I don't know where I am or what I'm doing.
I'm in a workshop, trying my hand at baking.
We're on the road again, and I want to hold her hand again.
I don't know why I had to take some many of these sticks, but I hope they're useful wherever the hell I'm going.
Someday I'll finish that damn boat and get some damn wood.
I don't freakin' know what these rocks are for, but I know they're worth something, so I'll keep digging dirt for 'em.
In here it's a lot like out there... except for the sun... and them.
I don't know how long will this life be worth living. At least another day.
In no time I'll have a crowbar ready, and I'll reclaim the town for me, at last.
Soon enough, I'll walk to the nearest Forest, and start charting the unknown. How terrific
Sometimes I wonder why I sit on this drill all day. Then I remember I love how it feels.
I wonder if that old man will pay for all this stuff with good food. I wish I were fatter.
If everything goes according to plan, I shall profit extensively!

Re: The I AM thread. (The 4-day rule applies!)
Good, if my post has the side effect of encouraging people to post again out of spite, then fantastic.. after I posted it, I realised my perceived personality here would do something like that. In no way am I suggesting that I'm so important or clever that I planned such an event or predicted that, but so long as activity returns here, I am happy.
And any claim that it is because of Cantr going down is half-true. Posts here occur on a daily or bi-daily rotation.. sometimes with a 2-day seperation. I checked this before saying it, and this ceased as soon as the staff said their piece. Not saying they were wrong in doing this, as they are just doing what is needed by the system which guides them, but rather I am commenting on the after effects of doign so and abiding by such a system.

Ahhhhhhhh. This took a lot of thinking, and after I was done I decided to only use animals from the Chinese zodiac. So on the left is the Chinese zodiac, and on the right is the unrestricted one.
Ox // Shire horse (mild, hard-working, peaceful)
Horse // Squirrel (can't sit still, excitable, unintelligent)
Goat // Mole (solitary but friendly/accomodating)
Ox // Cottonmouth (solitary, aggressive, likes water)
Rabbit // Goby fish (persevering, avoids conflict, mild)
Tiger // Black widow (...self explanatory)
Dog // Badger (disinterested, unfriendly, aggressive)
Snake // Hare (high-tension, melodramatic, but principled)
Ox // Rabbit (quiet, cautious, restrained)

Mission accomplished. ;) I tried to make the adjectives as vague as I could on purpose.

It is, but the Chinese zodiac's idea of rabbits is different from my impression of rabbits. Hence the difference.

I am starting new for a second time but the possibilities are endless and I know my partner and I make an unstoppable pair.

I almost didn't post, just because I didn't want returner to take credit for actions taken of my own free will.
Chinese zodiac...isn't that on those paper placemats at the restaurants that stir-fry mystery meat?
I am...
-Missing them but I have a job to do
-Having several jobs to do. It was nice.
-Wondering if -any- of them are going to wake up. But for now I have a job to do.
-Doing a job. She is really nice.
-Waiting to see if the lesson is over. I guess I should find a job to do.
- finally in a big city. So many jobs to do
Yet, I still love being here!
Be well

I am...
...obsessed with financial gain. But what good are friends, anyway? You can't eat them.
...happy, actually; really, well and truly content - It's like nothing bad had ever happened and I'm still a whole person.
...alone and feeling vicious.
...wait, where the hell -am- I?
...dying.
...quiet.
...up again after a bit of a nap.
...prowling my domain.
...unimportant.
...traveling on a cart through the empty jungle.
...annoyed by all the chatter.
...awake, and glad to see he's alright.
...um, okay, I guess.

I need to publically apologize to returner.
Apparently the comment that I forgot that I had made struck him the wrong way. It was just meant to be ironic and I didn't intend to offend, insult, or hurt feelings in any way. I am very sorry.

I think there was something I was supposed glean from that message. Maybe I will figure it out, but right now I have too many jobs to do.

I am...
- Man, the dumb, ex-king, now alone, lost, sad and searching for... a safe place with someone to watch over me.
- Man, trying to start life as a merchant where trade and free enterprise are viewed with suspicion.
- Man, lucky and rich hermit, but waiting forever for those who will never come.
- Man, helping two girls to build a boat.
- Woman, welcomed by a nice couple, but waiting forever for one that will never come.
- Man, cooking for the princess and her tribe, trying to compete with her suitors.
- Man, looking for animals to hunt and help their friends not to starve.
- Woman, a little girl discovering how things are.
- Woman, a prostitute in a tense and sad place.
