You win when you spawn, grab as much as you can hold off the ground and RUN!!!!! Oh, and still live to ste.... (BORROW) from the next town.

Seriously though, just playing Cantr makes you a winner.

You win when an opponent player commits a CRB to achieve something against one of your characters.

You just broke one - 4 day rule. We now all know far too much.

What? I made a general statement. I revealed nothing. At most you can guess my character's name. It is nothing. I could have posted something on "I AM" thread satisfying 4 day rule and revealed more. Don't be silly.

Sometimes the hero dies.

I'm winning as I'm having a lot of fun with my chars. The drama and role playing is fantastic. I even love the chars I hate. The stories are quite good and involved. It's better then reading most fiction.

Sure. I guess two people winning in Cantr is not mutually exclusive. There are several ways to "win" the game as have been pointed out in this thread. It just struck me that CRB thing is another way and I didn't want to miss the opportunity to gloat. :)

I won the game when Silas McElroy started singing to the papayas to ward off the evil spirits bringing the sleeping sickness to Kii.

I won the game when I actually managed to wound Nick Blackrock before he and Wonder Nuts (whose name is lost in the hazes of memory) hacked me to tiny bits with amazing gamer geek efficiency -- I'd still like to know how you people process your pages so much faster than I ever will. Mycal Madsen went down honorably, true to character, while trying to defend her leader that night.

I won the game when Samantha Mayer, High Priestess of Blaman Forest, evacuated her people and stayed behind to 'secure' the machinery  during the impending Baron invasion.

I won the game when Bruce Campbell managed to feed Katrina a four course meal plus dessert one night in Kwor.

I won the game when Willy played his banjo on the radio and brought a smile to Gwen's face just like the good old days in the silk bushes in Seatown Forest.

I won the game when Kabong pot food!

I won the game when the fool of Kriff, inherited the entire city and not bother to protect his large library.

I won the game when I've learnt on the forum that Zeus Darwin never realised a certain couple stole shields, weapons and enough of resources to let them build a raker later on, got a recruit for their future pirate crew and ran away in a slow-like-hell longboat just under his nose. And I've won again when they've got a ship-spawn and considered it a gift from the Serpents for continuous sacrifices.

I won the game when I've read Milosz's captive Mind several times for a reference when playing a certain charrie under Blackrocks' 'occupation'. And I've won again, thanks to the players of Blackrocks', when I've lost that charrie.

I won the game when one of my charries actually became polonofobic because of pirates around Omeo. And again, when he woke up after about 2-week sleep to realise he must have got pushed by the great wave through half of the island on his tinny dinghy, and dragged it the remaining distance to his hometown just to find everyone gone without a single trace left.

Kabong!!! :D I remember him....but I can't remember which of my chars knew him....where was he?
And all that is now
And all that is gone
And all that's to come
And everything under the sun is in tune
But the sun is eclipsed by the moon.

I won the game when I found an ancient archive abandoned deep into the wilderness.
...
On the other side, I just lost another Game.

I won the game by Initiating a new Stone Knight that is a better Knight than I am.
I won the game by building back up a defunct company, then retiring.
I won the game by persevering with multiple boring characters in boring environments.
I won the game by starting my own clan, and finding a truck in the middle of nowhere.
I won the game by helping another character find peace after a long life.
I won the game by changing her mind about promises.
I won the game when Tyson Braddock made a better Burgeo map than other guy.
I won the game when my 40 day old newspawn got some people she didn't like to leave town with nothing more than disapproving looks and strong words.
I won the game when Duncan Hillspire married the love of his life, but lost his soul when he chose her over going off to fight the Blackrocks, forever believing himself to be a coward.

I lost the game by suddenly not having any more time to devote to my involved character gimmick :(
I lost the game when Sabrina Seadragon accidentally spoke her plans to take over the town out loud.
I lost the game when LOUD LARRY miscalculated and let H out of the closet (lost if for a lot of others too).
I lost the game when Octavian T. Wolfkiller declared war on Noah and the Emerald Republic.
I lost the game when Jacob of DHN couldn't convince his elders that attacking the Emerald Knights was suicidal folly.
I lost the game when I unsubbed:
...and lost Deserea Seadrake, who easily could have beaten Tom Vacabou by decades in making a world map.
...and the Naron Republic that Lond Arminius spent his whole life cobbling together fell apart.
I lost the game when Dust-eye MacGruder stumbled onto a conspiracy in the next town over a US bank holiday, which rendered me absent.

This one makes me happy because I'm pretty sure I know which charrie it is.
