So why include me and my post in your original reply, since that is all I write about in my post?

Double negative mod. For shame. I've always hated this thread as I could never figure out if the person is actually someone I wanted to kill or not, so just burn it all down.
I did it cuz I hate you.

It's not a rule, but a good excuse for shutting this thread down if we ever wanted to, which we get closer and closer to doing every time someone breaches the 4-day rule. I'm just saying. It's different than the other thread you cite, which reveals players but not character motives. This thread, in some cases, does both, which is the evil double-whammy that leads to lots of grief and PD reports. We just had a case where the player alleged that his entire town turned on his character after he posted here.

So, do what you want, but be on notice that this thread is on thin-ice.

My words are in a bowl of milk as we speak.

That was directed at Natso obviously, and my original post was directed at the idea of intervention in this thread. But now I see what you see, and I am eating my words for lunch.

I'm on Cantr craving, so... Animal Edition comming! (thank you for not asking :P)

Basically, those are animals that would fit as my characters familiars or avatars for any reason, from appearance and personality to culture of the region.

- Doe - gracious, modest and wary
- Hawk - wild and untamed... unless he decides otherwise
- Snow leopard(ess) - calm and reliable, but can turn into savage mode almost instantly
- Sidewinder - who knowsss...
- Pure-white, long-maned unicorn - grace, beauty... art... and raising unstuck from reality around him
- Wolf cub - not the biggest/strongest in the pack, but very keen anyway
- Racoon - adorable and crafty
- Red panda (or even two of them) - cute, fluffy... and mischevious at heart.
(EDIT: living with 2 red pandas: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DAbuKblNHoE extreme cuteness warning! damn, I've fallen in love with those fluffs)

Mmm... I don't know what you two are reffering to, but the area where the charrie lives certainly have sidewinders, and the charrie has a sidewinder of it's own, too... kinda.

I don't mean to be condescending to the staff, but thankyou for destroying a good thread. I know you had good intentions, but I'm pretty annoyed. Then again, I only just noticed this so its not a big deal, but now people can't be bothered posting as they know it will be under intense scrutiny.

Do you see what happens when you throw in generally ridiculous or unaccepted or unusual rules? Specifically in this situation, it has decreased activity to absolutely nothing at all.

I have run many, many forums before. It is very likely that I have more experience running forums both busier and quieter than this one. I know what works and what doesn't. I know how to create a balance between potential rule-breaking posts, chit-chat, and desirable posts.

And it's not through strict rules.

I'm pretty sure this thread has been inactive due to the game being down.

Take some pills or something...

From my experience in talking to you, you have no clear grasp of what rules are. At least not how to follow them. You claim yourself that you have issues with authority. I believe there are a lot of people around here that are better to judge the rules than you are. But thanks for your input.

My husband and I both run a forum board, each for different purposes. And we both support and agree to your forum rules. Like Rebma said, this has only been dead due to cantr being down.

Indeed, I was planning to make my first post to this thread after cantr was back up a while.... of course, now it will have to be my SECOND post to this thread.
