I'm asking whether people in towns would SEE the random characters dying in their events?

I saw a woman die right before me in the turn report emailed to me.

If they take it back only a day or two wouldn't those characters still be alive then?

Curious if the specific characters that were targetted were spread out , or in a close location or belonged to specific people and why those specific ones were targetted :? Except dougs of course. Doug just messed up what he / she was doing it seems and likely irritated him / her by locking it.

I saw someone die in Akypor who was awake an hour before that.

Just a question for experienced players. If the back up turns back to one or two days ago.... do you RP again your previous actions? Or are they taken as if they had already happened?

I think most things about rp things will change or not be done. Things will go different after it turns back mostly. And it sucks if you killed someone you wanted dead and you did it by sneak attack. Now the other knows. :D

Some completely ignore it. Some act like they've had some weird sort of deja vu or general confusion / vivid dream, etc.

I am going to play it like the movie groundhog day... reliving the day before, remembering what happened, but time has ben turned back. I'll remember people I just met, I'll remember starting a project and being annoyed I must start it again or decide not to restart them. Bugs and glitches happen and we just need to play it out. It's not always easy to forget.

Some things just can't be replayed...too tough. Usually I play it like deja vu.

What everyone else said.. That is how I play it. 'Why does it feel like this already happened?'

But surely it is not so bad compared to repeating several hours long argument on the finer points of civilization.

Poor guy who just left in his new boat is going to get an earful from some townsfolk when time is turned back. (vague description and not that important. you either know what I'm talking about or not)

The only real problem with rollbacks is if there were a delicate situation like Arenti mentioned. It's iffy whether a player whose char got into a bad situation will let it happen again or make some adjustments to avoid the repeat of whatever punishment got rolled back. The last major rollback I recall opened the door, so to speak, for a villain type to escape lockup. I think the player took advantage of the situation and escaped....don't remember exactly.
