Characters that irritate you/yours -

As one of these "hated and loathed; ruthless, lying, murdering, scumbag Emerald Knight thugs...", I'd like to point out that you getting pissed off over them coming to kill you only because you had made your own nefarious plans to trap and kill all of them, then take over the empire by force... Its a bit foolish. Really? What did you think would happen? One side was obviously going to kill the other. No. You guys are just upset because you weren't on the winning side.

I personally am irritated by characters that think a mostly sleepy government that hardly does anything is oppressive and needs to be overthrown.

And as for complaints that it is too easy to kill someone in Cantr... Its freakin' impossible to kill someone in the game compared to real life. A needle can kill someone if used right. Thankfully the justice system is so much better in real life too. (I do however think the tea is a bit too much myself.)

Do any plans to attack the Emerald Knights happen because they are ruthless, lying, murdering scumbag thugs, or do the Emerald Knights act like ruthless, lying, murdering scumbag thugs because people are planning against them? It's a puzzle only a zen-master can solve.

And... in the past (long past, Cantr-time), I've absolutely had a character killed quite ruthlessly and he had nothing to do with any plans or plots against the Emerald Knights, so... I think he had a very good reason to hate them. Or at least be irritated by them, to get back on the thread topic!

The plans to attack the Emerald Republic were formulated at a peaceful time, and were completely underhanded. Those plans were what started the conflict. That is at least from what I know, and I have a character that was directly involved in it at one time.

Well, perhaps, but on previous occasions, they were certainly not innocent victims, as one of my characters knew intimately. And that's all I'll say, even though the incident is long past.

How about telling the char that had absolutely NOTHING to do with either side and was staying completely neutral.... why that char was killed.... I would LOVE to hear the reasoning for that... Anyways. Done with my rant.

I love how almost nobody have a neutral or "true" knowledge about a event they haven't witnessed. Like how both sides of a conflict color the story in their interest or opinion, and new people have no idea of what really happened. Just as in real life.
