Milk

Branching off from the Rice Milk, is it not possible to just make a machine that can only be used while a milk-giving animal is in town that produces milk?

It would require animal domestication, which is discussed someplace else. So I read.

Either that or assume that milk-bearing animals are semi-feral and can be milked just like that. All we would need for that is a check that looks for animals with milk at the present location. Then it wouldn't be a problem to add a project to the bucket that allows you to create milk if e.g. cows are present. Not exactly full-scale domestication, but a compromise I could live with.

Similar abilities with other animal products such as wool and dung should also be considered at the same time as milk.

Dung, maybe. But I can't really see where you are going with wool... I suppose you could get it off of a sheep, of course, but as far as I know, there are no razors in game. (?)

Scissors? You don't shave a sheep, you shear it.

lol yes. I wasn't talking about full-scale domestication, I was just talking about a machine that all it would take is checking to make sure that a milk/wool/dung/whatever else-giving animal was present. At least something temporary until animal domestication can be sorted out or whatever is happening with that.

Maybe animal groups that are being "used" are temporarily more aggressive, to simulate discomfort on their part.

It would be funny to see:

"You see a man in his twenties get kicked by a dwarf cow."

or something similar.

It wasn't moved to rejected, either. It's in suggestion limbo for now.
