Use a cart for your exoskeleton or a rickshaw - then it can be a duo passenger power anti-matter mech suit with repositioning capabilities Or even better than that, the pickup takes three AND goes on paths.
Invisibility can already be gain IG as is. I don't see a real need for this either....

How's that Snakebyte? If you're in a cart, everyone can hit you. And they can break into it and drag you off on top of that. What did you mean?

Only one passenger allowed per cart, and there is no dragging from outside. And as I said, I'm not a fan of the invincibility idea. That's making the rich richer and the poor poorer.

So? Rich-richer is a sociological (or moral) "problem" and from a game design point of view isn't that perfectly irrelevant.
We were envisioning a battlesuit that is only useful if you have buddies supporting and taking care of you. So as a "rich bastard" with a suit and no friends, you'd not be better off with it than without, at all.

I think it is relevant, especially when there are already many social orders established and many rich pirates that would love to get their hands on one of those. Myself included. I have a well to do charrie that could use some destruction time. You can already take out a town with four well armed people. Why not make two of them invincible? That'll bring the exact kind of flare everyone can enjoy.

So what are you saying, Snakebyte, that rich pirates are not allowed to do what they want and love to do? I get this line of erroneous reasoning frequently enough that it almost makes an anti-moralist Cantr manifesto seem necessary and timely. The short and sweet point is that moral concerns are no concern of ours when designing the combat dynamics. It's fundamentally ridiculous (and shortsighted) to set up the combat system in a way that discourages combat or violent characters, even if you have the best of intentions in mind, like helping protect established towns and so on.
When we have our "game design" cap on, it's a big deal to be as morally impartial as possible. Take a clue from the way God did it for our world.

It is some point in that, but then we should destroy every car in Cantr too, as not every Cantrian have one.

Walk around on foot? Are you crazy? Besides, being in a vehicle doesn't stop you from being hit...

Yes, but you can run away faster, you cannot be dragged, and also you can use radio at the same time as you can hear what people talk in town center. Quite big advantages.
