Surprising Descriptions

Postby FiziKx » Tue Mar 16, 2010 10:54 pm

With the implementation of descriptions, I thought that It would be cool to have a thread dedicated to a list of charries thats descriptions just don't match what you imagined them to be like. Add a quick note if you'd like.

Have at it.

There's a specific man in a specific forest who I imagined a lot more wimpy-er. And definitely not tall and strong. I'm sure I said an expletive and a sarcastic remark when I read it.

That's all I'm gonna say.

Where's yours, anyways? Lead by example Fizi

A Warriors body

Makes me

When I read it, I nearly slapped the character and thought of reporting it for misrepresentation....*grin* <sarcasm>

I've only seen one that made me both laugh and want to slap the player. Most have been close enough to what I expected aside from color of hair/eyes......so far. I think a lot of that is because many players I'm around have been pretty good at emoting their char's description for awhile now (or at least the ones who have entered descriptions have been). I've realized how little I emote physical traits because of all this.

I was right there with you CDLs!

I'm mostly disappointed that certain characters are not described... rather then surprised by a description.

Well, I have only gotten one of my characters done and posted, the others I wont post until I am happy with my image of them. It would be too easy to make them all look perfect and would certainly take away from being able to really define my characters. So yeah...One down, fourteen to go, and they will be up when they are ready!!

Or...

*Has epic warrior body that no woman can resist. The only thing bigger than his axe is his....*cough* *

Yep...I know which option is better!

You call that an axe? I thought that was a steel peen hammer.

Oh yes. I went there.
