Are there any other disassembles planned in the near future?

please say huts and shacks, please huts and shacks...

Fire pits are a great start though, they're basically just a ring of small rocks somebody lit a fire in once and somehow now they're stuck in the middle of a town that no longer needs them for all eternity. I hope we can eventually take apart any machine though. And mud huts and wooden shacks! God I hate those things.

Figured as much - didn't mean to make it sound like I was reporting a bug. :)

I see a new mission for one of my chars: to build a mud hut or shack in every Cantr town!

I'm tempted to say "no, just fire pits, because I hate them so much", but in fact we do plan on making practically everything demolishable eventually, shacks and mud huts included. (Fire pits are merely a test object.)

However, the code is currently only applicable to machines. In order to work with portables, buildings or vehicles it needs to be extended, so your objects of hate will be safe for now.

Our next target will be engines (for which the code was developed) and after that we'll probably update any item that won't cause technical problems.

I think more than a few of us would have taken this as a valid and reasonable answer :P

Why the hate for fire pits? I don't get it I use them all the time. If you couldn't dry herbs on the racks I would hate those. They are pretty much worthless.

I use them both all the time. I am even guilty of making more. :)

I made a bunch of drying racks at one location. Like 8 of them, right before they changed the meat drying projects. I was so pissed but liked the fact that grilling meat became automated so I made a bunch of pits to fix it.

He is in his twenties and is efficiently working on project 'Disassembling Small fire pit'. He looks very hungry.
He wears nothing worth mentioning.

And here is the problem with this. Second one today he has taken apart.

Drag him off the project. Kill him. Wait for him to starve. Add it to the town laws that you mustn't disassemble things.

Maybe there should be a disassembly notification, just like with locks.

Why the hate for drying racks? I have no idea why they were made so useless for meat, but in other places you can take enough food for eight days from your endless supply of rice or potatoes and quickly and easily turn it into food for ten days that only weighs a fraction of the original. Dried fish is some of the best food out there and doesn't take any work to prepare.

Maybe there should be a disassembly notification, just like with locks.

Wow...I haven't tried this myself yet but I assumed there would be one. I definitely agree with this then. Actually stopping people from disassembling things without permission should be an IC issue, but some kind of notification is definitely necessary. Maybe it doesn't matter so much now with piddly little fire pits, but somebody quietly taking your harvester apart is a whole nother issue.

I have to say, awesome job on changing the way clothes appear on people. I've always wanted it where you could see the name of the actual item, with the description either popping up when you hover or listed after the name of the item. And having underclothing grayed out (like coconut bras) is awesome too! Looks much neater now (and is much easier to imagine what a person is wearing)! Just having the descriptions always felt awkward to me.

Yay it makes half naked people look more obviously half naked! XD

It actually lists the item AND its description! How novel! Like how hidden items are grayed out, too.
