Chatbox Instead of IRC

This IRC seems a bit quite and underused it would be cool if we could change it to a chat box built into the forum.

The only examples I can think of on a forum require you to be signed in but basically like the anilinks chat

but built into the forum probs at the top, there might be a mod or something for whatever forum type this is

why not as well as? Just add an IRC-Java applett for easy access and done.

But we already have an irc java applet... I remember Human-Age forums having a chat box (I think it was on the clan private forums) and it's kinda annoying to see it there on every page. It should only be on a particular page so that you'd go there when you actually feel like chatting and not because it automatically loads it on every page.

Anyone who frequented the IRC the past year knows exactly why the thing is quiet and it has nothing to do with reasons stated.

Why instead of IRC? If yes then in addition to IRC, and I do not like chatboxes anyway. IRC is better.

There should be a link to Cantr IRC chat(s) (Plural because there are multiple ways to get on IRC without a client) within the IRC thread, itself.
