O.O Well that's all I do is Character Name (<CANTR CHARDESC>) cause I mix-mash male/female with ambiguous names.

Might have been a moment of slow connection. If the refresh is in fact causing the problems.

I never use CANTR CHARDESC as I find it majorly inconvenient. Instead I enable the custom description by typing a space in the description field.

That's pretty smart.

The sense I get from what Marol has posted is that the recoding, that he's presumably actively working on, will either fix many of these problems OR makes it not worth fixing the problems under the current code-scheme. I share your frustration. I get mysql errors about every 5 times I enter a line of text and it blows royally. All I can ask is that everyone be a little patient until Marol's done tinkering.

You can turn off JavaScript contents in Player Settings. It should help until this problem is solved. In my case I have this sometime, but I need only once to repeat what I did.

I'll try this and see if it helps.

It should as it turns off auto refresh of events. But also it would turn off new look of build menu and extended pop-up character descriptions.

Couldn't the code just be edited so that it stops refreshing if speak to all or view all has been clicked?

I suppose so, but I get the errors when I click other things as well. I guess it couldn't hurt.

A similar issue which has roots with this one is being "timed out" or whatever AFTER hitting "talk to all" and not having any submitted.

In the past this wasn't an issue because you could simply use the back button and get whatever it was in return. NOW, because of the refresh rate, you STAY signed out. While, in retrospect, this is good... the game SHOULDN'T be forcefully signing me out IF I AM ACTIVE.

INACTIVITY is when that should happen, not X amount of time PERIOD.
