I got some good laughs out of it. Definitely worth watching. Going to watch Star Trek sometime this week... Daddy duties and work leave little time for movies. Also going to see Avatar in 3D soon. I hope it lives up to the hype. Anyway, I haven't seen a 3D movie since Freddy's Final Nightmare... many years ago.

Ooo, Star Trek was freaking awesome. Soon as I finished watching it, I felt the need to call a friend who had told me that it was terrible. It was freaking bad ass!

Well I see why some hate it and whoever saw it knows why but they didnt mess it up badly. who knows they may do what star trek 2-4 did with a story that went on in a way.

I thought District 9 was very good. Good story, fun action, gore when it counted. Overall, a very entertaining movie. I've been recommending it to everyone... well, those who like sci-fi, anyway. I watched it, then immediately watched it again.

I'd like to add that one of the best movies I've seen in a while was 'No Country for Old Men.' Extremely engaging with a very well written story. No, I haven't read the novel yet, but it's on my list of things to read. After I'm done with 'The Universe in a Nutshell.' I like to alternate between fiction and non-fiction.

Aladdin. I'm buds with the RA in my building who has every Disney movie ever made. 6 girls and 1 guy in the lounge singing "A Whole New World." I love college.

Okay, so I watched Avatar 3D recently. I've got to say that my wife and I were very entertained. The 3D makes it very engaging. The characters were very Hollywood cliche, but the acting was good and the action was fun. I doubt it will win any awards, but I'd recommend that everyone go and see it on the big screen in 3D. Hopefully the future of movie experiences in the cinema will involve more and better 3D, but I wouldn't bet money on it. James Cameron was brave to make and release a movie with a message such as the one in Avatar, but he didn't really have to make anything after Titanic (which I didn't care for) made him super-rich. Fun time at the theater, though.

I watched it opening night on a whim. I felt the same. Very worth seeing at the theater. I would have been bummed seeing it at home.
