Trophy Mounts
I think it would be interesting to see stuffed and mounted animals.
To do this, you would need:
-The fur, hide, crocodile hide, wool, shell, skin, or feathers from the animal you killed and leather equal to that amount.
-The bones from the animal you killed
-Any yarn to equal the amount of the other missing pieces.
-Some wood for the stand
Let's use the bear as an example. form the bear you receive:
1250 grams of meat
450 grams of fur
250 grams of large bones
60 grams of sinew
500 grams of fresh dung
1810g of yarn
450g of fur
450g of leather
250g of large bones
750g of wood
Uses a hammer and a needle. Maybe a carving knife for the mount itself.
I guess you would need three different mount sizes for the different animals. 100g, 300g, 550g of wood?
The animals on the medium and large mounts would only be drag-able. The animals on the small mounts could be holdable.
Shelled creatures who don't give meat wouldn't need any stuffing, simply mounting. Though the tortoise would still need the leather...

Nice suggestion. One problem I see though is I don't think the large bones (etc) you get when successfully hunting know what animal they came from, they are just large bones. So either it has to be added so that all animal resources know what their origin is, or you should be able to make a stuffed bear from any fur, any bones and so on... and then it kinda doesn't reflect anything like a hunting trophy at all.

It's a shame that animals can't produce unique fur and meat without a requirement of making them separate resources. It would be nice if it could keep track of sub-types so that you could for example have a pile that's 21% rabbit fur, 30% wolf fur and 49% bear fur, and you could split the pile if you wanted to, and also when you added them on a project and created an item on it, the item would remember the ratio of resources implemented. So you could for example have a fur cloak that says it's 100% raccoon skin, or one that has a little bit of everything and would give people an impression of patchwork. It could also be extended to foods. Nutritionally there wouldn't need to be a difference between meat from different animals but it would make rp interesting if people could tell something was snake or lion or cow meat. But this is way off topic. The thing is we can't make things this complex with the current system.

The "stuffed animal" projects would basically be a replica of the animals DB in that there would need to be every animal, there would need to a whole new category added for them in the Manu. page, and that you would need to use a general amount of weight in other resources (though including:small/large bones and fur, hide ect...) to stuff it. As I mentioned, maybe a possibility of using any yarn would be appropriate.
The bone are merely added to simulate the animals structure and the hides and furs or whatever are pretty obvious...
Of course then anyone can make any mount from and for or hide or feather, but I think that they may be used a lot more for rp...

Yeah, and the problem other people are having is that you could kill a bunch of rats and then make a stuffed raccoon while never having seen a raccoon. Which is why, in order for this to work within the confides of the Cantr world, it would need to be more general.

Well you can build a galleon without ever having seen one, or a house or a car

I'm not going to create 150 new objects to cover all types of animal in the game, especially if those objects have merely decorational value and most of them will very likely never be built.
Besides that, it is indeed pretty pointless to kill three doves to make a stuffed penguin, especially if you have never seen one before.

Pretty in pink.
