Unnamed Location - Unchangeable
I have a character(#280217) that is unable to name a location(Zhift Hills (south)). Every other locations seems to behave fine. Is this the same thing that's happening to MartialAngel?

According to the database, you've named it <CANTR_CHARDESC> That doesn't work with locations, it just makes them invisible. I guess there should be some sort of an automatic fix that fills in something else (or deletes the older record) when people try to do that since earlier this week I had to fix about 50 of those + 40 of location names saved blank.
Edit: Oh, not to mention it was saved as a character name, not a location name. That has to be some sort of a bug.

Seko, it happened to me and I didn't name it that string <CANTR etc.. I also doubt Rob Maule would have done that..
But, based on that, perhaps the error occured because I had multiple tabs.. I may have ctrl+tabbed a character and the location and tried naming them in that order, thus putting the <CANTR_CHARDESC> in the location name due to a processing/algorithim error.

Yeah, that might explain it. I thought people might want to revert something back to "unnamed location" after naming it wrong, but when there are a hundred cases like that, it seems very unlikely that so many people would've felt the same need to erase names. I never use multiple tabs except when naming people, and even that sometimes causes the "you're not allowed to view other people's characters" error. Cantr doesn't seem to support multiple tabs very well.

Thanks Seko. I definitely didn't try to name the location <CANTR_CHARDESC> or have multiple tabs open. When it first happened, I was playing via my cell phone. The only thing I could think of is that sometimes the pages don't load, so I have to try refreshing a page, which often causes the "you're not allowed to view other people's characters" error.
But thanks, anyway, for fixing it for me!
