I first noticed that the events refresh has been reworked. I then get this, so I assume it's related.

Just trying to type events. Maybe I hit enter at the same time it was trying to refresh? It happened to me twice in a row, and I actually had to log all the way out of the character to clear the error.

Now I get this every single time I use the back button on my browser. I've been using the back button for years, so it's gonna take a lot of work to retrain myself. The problem is, once I get t his error, I can't get out of it. I have to log out/ log back in.

I get this even when I don't use my back browser, sometimes when naming people too.

I think I got the same one once when I tried to remove an article of clothing, and I don't think I had used the back button then. Why would it need to access locations.inc.php then anyway?

In a nutshell, since either the utf-8 conversion or the event updater were added (too close together to tell), I have to refresh the page to do anything. I used to be able to just back out of pages without having to reload them, but now everything needs to be reloaded (and often gives that error). And since some pages still don't have built in back buttons, it's a real problem.

Can whatever is causing this please be found and fixe? While it started out as a nuisance, I can honestly say that dealing with it for the last 4-5 days is negatively impacting my playing experience.

So far people have reported it when:

-Using the back button
-removing clothing
-entering a new event while it's trying to refresh
-naming people

I often have to log out of Cantr entirely to clear the error.

When I use the back button, I get the "This webpage has expired" page.

Could you please tell us which pages don't have back button?

- Containers page,
- lock breaking page,
- chosing project on machine page,
- putting items in container page,
- using items page,
- giving out items page,
- dropping resources page,
- eating page...

[more to come as I discover it]

Ya, I got it again when just trying to post, nothing else. I really like that it shows new events I guess we can't have everything but I have literally almost completely stopped bothering checking most of my characters except a few key ones because I figure just to play one I'll have to login three times :\

With the refresh time being every 5 seconds I've noticed getting errors if I submit a post and the page refreshes via the timer before it's refreshed normally for my message. Most common error was the "cannot view events of other players" or w/e it is. Though been getting the SQL error more and more. Frustrating if you have a slower connection, because this will happen EVERY time you post.

I'm experiencing this problem, too, when trying to say something when one of my characters and when trying to name another character (among other circumstances).

Another page without a back button is the one when starting a project to gather a resource (or if you just want to look at the tools and gathering rates there). There's a button to continue, but none to go back.

Would it help if the timer was switched to for example 10 seconds? 5 seconds is a pretty short time.

Long time ago it was 40, right? I think 10-20 should cover it for most connection speeds to be able to avoid this.
