What about wood alcohol? This was already the least efficient, but it's now disappeared, hasn't it?

I left the wood alcohol out for now, since there are a) enough other options to make alcohol, b) the process involved is a different one and c) wood alcohol is strictly speaking methanol, which would make it impossible to consume fuel alcohol or process it into a drinkable product.
