So what do you guys think...

I know that many people think that Sester Gartaf is dead which he isn't. I thought he was going to die but somehow he got away with like 1% health and someone in his place was killed to make it look like he was killed.

So do you guys think that it is possible for his rise to power again?

Unless the ghost of my char who he killed in a moment of brainlessness comes back and slays him ^^ *still hasn't forgotten* I have yet to lose a character in something other than error, massacre an hour after spawning, or CR breach. None of my chars ever have meaningful deaths. *despairs* *stabs people* *wipes out humanity* *feels better *

I've had meaningful character deaths, they still suck but I guess you can console yourself somewhat. But like most, many of mine have been stupid and meaningless. Like when a fifty year old character was killed for hunting.

It didn't, though. Managed to get us all.

Even if I hated Sester, at least it's part of the old empire left alive! And who knows, at this point we could use the extra person.

Well, since Sester was betrayed by certain people in the Empire I'm not so sure if he will be a good thing for the Empire or a bad thing. He could very well seek revenge against certain persons and with DoUrden and Alenz Hills closing in on the Empire, the fighting amongst the certain factions could be the downfall. Sort of like what happened to the Roman Empire between East and West.

I think its just cool that a legendary character like that lives on secretly, and quitely plots his revenge. Never met him ingame, just heard about him on the forums and he sounded like a great character, who I thought must have been long gone.

I'm not sure what the state of Ladvicitavoi is, but from what I've heard it's pretty glum. I bet he could start the empire anew there if he had support. That would give Naron a start when he marched in as emperor of the New Gartaf Empire.

Or it would surprise those that defeat Naron

What few don't know is that Emperor Alexi Romanov had two sons both of which are still alive and one of them is Sester Gartaf Romanov. Why do you all think he rose up through the ranks so fast and was trusted to be the Commander of the entire military in the Empire?

The other son is even more shadowy than Sester. I wouldn't be surprised right now if he was a member of DoUrden and no knew or even Alenz Hills.

Actually Sester is much like Maynard where most of the atrocities that he is credited for he was never involved in or wasn't even around for. I admit that he did some pretty bad things but like Maynard he did it for the good of his moral and beliefs. Sester believed he was bringing civilization to the barbaric world just like Maynard believed he was bringing peace to the region.

Nothing can be said of Sestar to ever make me believe he had an ounce of goodness in him. I don't really mean the horrible things he did outside of the Empire, but more of what he imposed upon the people in Lad, and definately how he treated my character. I wish my char knew of his demise, surely there would be lots of smiles.
