I dunno what you're talking about Mack, but if I would ever post something like that, I'd assume everyone knew it was meant in good humor. Funny though how a thread about forum fighting turned into a forum fight.

How am I fighting? I just expressed an opinion? Didn't call anyone down, or insult anyone. Or ridicule anyone because of their opinion. I showed an example of what I was speaking of, and that is all? All I said about the thread you started, that I can only assume was deleted, was that I felt it was abuse of the forums, especially for the forum it was it was in. But I don't see how I am fighting?

In fact I haven't seen any fighting in this thread to this point

While the thread, itself, was poor behavior I don't really care and realize it was in "good humor". However I do think it violates the TOS for the forum, which I have been personally reminded of a few times by Doug.

I voted that I don't care.

Personally, there are instances where online "battles" are quite entertaining, but for the most part it only shows just how immature a person can be when they do not have to be held accountable for their actions.

There is a huge difference between people just joking around and people being an ass, and the problem is that sometimes not everyone can recognize which is which. An even bigger problem is that people take things online much more seriously than they would in RL, I mean come on..."<insertnamehere> is a douche" oh wow...that person just got E-pwned :roll:

Just keep in mind, new people signing up for the game will more than likely come on over to the forum here, do you really want them greeted with a bunch of cyber battling that equates into nothing more than a "My epenis is bigger than yours" mentality and in doing so giving them the idea that is what they will find in game?
